Chapter 11~ Sleep? What is that?

I woke up early and it was only five am. I sighed and tried to go back to sleep but after twenty minutes of laying there, I decided to get up and watch Tv. While I waited until I had to get ready. After about another twenty minutes I heard something in the hallway I got up and opened my door but nothing was there I looked around and saw that Bloodroses door was cracked open a bit.

Oh she's awake I thought to myself I quietly walked over to her room and looked through the crack in the doorway. She was at her vanity and I saw the makeup she had and it shocked me I didn't know she wore make up? I looked closely but I couldnt see her face..I watched and saw her head go up and I almost gasped. She had dark circles under her eyes...like she hadn't slept in days...

I watched as she applied foundation then eye drops. She sighed and I decided to got back to my room but when I tried to go back the floor made a creaking noise and immediately I saw Bloodrose look back and she saw me. Her eyes widened and I looked at her with concern

So I walked in

"H-Hey Veronica what are you doing up so early" Asked Bloodrose nervously

I looked at her

"Ashley are you getting enough sleep?" I asked worried

She looks down and shakes her head

"Why?" I asked concerned

She didn't say anything

"It's....embarrassing.." she says quietly

"What?.." I said confused

" I've been having nightmares and I really don't wanna fall back asleep.." she says quietly

I sat down in front of her

"What kind of nightmares?" I asked

She looked at me

"Somethings from the past .." she says quietly

I looked at her worried

"I'm fine Veronica.." she says with a smile

I wanted to cry I hate it when people say they are fine when they are not..Bloodrose smiled at me but it looked force and I couldn't take it anymore so I hugged her

"It's okay mom you'll be fine" I said and didn't realized I called her mom

She looked at me surprised

"W-What did you say?.." she asks

I looked at her and said it again

"Its okay mom you'll be fine" I said quietly

Her eyes widened and she started to cry. I hugged her then I looked at her

"Are you gonna tell the others?"

She shook her head

"I always give them something to worry about so no" she says as she rubs her eyes

Then she grabs my hands

"Please don't tell them" she says with pleading eyes

I sighed and nodded then she hugged me.

"I can't believe you called me mom" she says with a smirk

I turned pink and she laughed

"It's alright you can call me mom if you want" she says with a smile

I smile back and left I had to get ready but then my alarm started to go off and I seriously wanted to throw my phone out the window I sighed and went to change. I really didn't want to wear a crop top or skirt so I check the weather and it's windy so I decided just to go basic: oversized hoodie and leggings.

I changed and shrugged I curled my hair and put my things into my bag. I went downstairs and Killswitch was cooking nightmare and royal were sitting at the table. I sat down and Killswitch gave me breakfast then Bloodrose came downstairs acting as she usually would and sat down with us. We eat and got into the car of course nightmare and royal were at each other's throats and Killswitch was getting annoyed and Bloodrose trying to calm everyone down but we arrived at school they wished me luck I waved goodbye and walked to the entrance
