He caught up to me and we started walking.

"Yo did you get in trouble again," he said with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes.

"Pretty much so now I have to do a four-page essay that's due tomorrow," I said with a groan.

"Must suck to suck" he said sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes.

"is today your birthday?" He asked curiously.

"Yeah, how'd you know?".

"I heard your friend scream it in the morning," he said with a shrug.

I giggled.

"Anyway Happy birthday Verizon," he said as he hit my back hard.

"Thanks and ow!" I said angrily.

Then I flicked his forehead.

"Hey!!" He said angrily.

I laughed and he chuckled.

"Yeah yeah now go to class," he said annoyed.

He walked off and I went into the class then sat down next to Naya as she was asleep. I giggled and Ms. Hart walked in and passed out papers and we began to do our work while Naya was still asleep but then Ms. Hart came over to me and gestured for me to follow her. I sighed and got up then Ms. Hart tapped Naya's head which startled her.

Ms. Hart sighed and we walked out of the classroom and into the hallway.

"Veronica I think Mr. Clancy has already talked to you am I right?".

I nodded.

"Alright then well for extra credit I also want a two-page essay of the plant the cycle due in tomorrow," she says firmly.

I sighed and nodded then we walked back into the classroom and I sat down.

"What happened?" asked Naya.

"More essays," I said as I banged my head against the table.

She pats my head and the bell rings we got up and walked out.

"Damn how many more essays you have to do," said Naya.

"There's gonna be more," I said tiredly.

She pats my back and goes to her classroom as I was about to go downstairs I heard someone say.

"Verizon!!!" Julian said as he ran up to me.

"Uh, what's up?".

"Yo guess what I got transfer to gym this hour," he said with a groan.

"Really why?" I said curiously.

"I didn't like my art class so I changed it," he said with a shrug.

"Damn that's tough".

He nodded and we walked to gym but then we started to argue over some weird shit that I didn't even know why we're arguing in the first place.

"I don't get it like the fuck?" Julian said frustrated.

I gripped his arm.

"You don't get it?!" I said shocked.

"No how is plankton a shrimp? Why is he green".

"Because he's special," I said gripping his arm harder.

He rolled his eyes.

"Yeah yeah whatever," he said as he walked away.

I rolled my eyes and was about to go into the locker room until I felt someone watching me so I turned and saw no one there..so I went inside and changed and Amelie came up to me.

"Happy birthday Vera," Amelie said and she gave a hug.

"Thanks, Ams," I said with a smile.

"You wanna hang out today?" I asked her.

"I- uh I'm busy today uh I have a swim meet today.." she stuttered.

I gave her a weird look.

"Uh okay..." I said still giving her a weird look.

We walked out and went to our gym class and I saw Axel stretching so I went over to him and he looks up at me and he hugs me.

"Happy birthday!!!" He said happily.

I laughed as he twirled me around then he kissed my cheek. We aren't dating we're taking it slow so it's just dates and cuddles.

"Lovely couple," said Julian with a smirk.

I looked and rolled my eyes.

"Oh it's you Decarlo..." said Axel annoyed.

"Cox..." said Julian disgusted.

They looked at each other annoyed.

"What's your guys problem?" I asked them curiously.

Axel set me down and shrugged.

"Pretty boy over here and his goons decided to gang up on my friends which didn't go well since they short as fuck" Julian said with a smirk.

"Yeah yeah, whatever" Axel said with an eye roll.

After Gym was over Julian and Axel walked with me to geometry But then Julian put his arm around my neck.

"Goodbye best friend," he said as he smirked at Axel.

I could see Axel was getting annoyed so he pulled me closer to him and he kissed my cheek.

"Goodbye soon-to-be girlfriend," Axel said glaring at Julian.

I gave them a weird look as they kept glaring at each other.

"Okayyy bye," I said as I walked away from them.

I walked into Geometry and Luca still wasn't there...he hasn't been here in two months. I've texted but he didn't even read them. I'm getting worried..after class was over Mrs. Locke assigned me extra homework to do for extra credit..ughhhh!!. I sighed and walked to lunch.

As I walked into the lunchroom I saw Agnes and Inez sitting at a table so I joined them.

"Yo what's up," I said as I sat down.

"Eh, nothing much except-" Inez starts to say.

"I GOT A BOYFRIEND!" She says happily.

My eyes widened.

"Really who??" I said curiously.

"Remember that guy who knocked me over".

"Leo?" I said trying to remember.

She nods and squeals I was happy for her but as I looked at Inez she looked concerned?.
