Drug warning

Vada

Vada was currently hitting her chest with a closed fist as she coughed up a lung, all the while Jaden was laughing at her. He shook his head and leaned back, taking a large drag of the blunt himself.

He had spent the last five minutes making sure that Vada would inhale correctly so that she could actually benefit from smoking, not just get a bad cough.

"You're really bad at this" he pointed out on an in-breath, his voice held vice-like to keep the weed in longer.

"Yeah, no shit" Vada coughed one last time, leaning back and frowning slightly.

Jaden laughed again and turned towards her with a light smile.

"You swearing doesn't make sense to me somehow..." He shook his head and looked forward again, taking another drag then passing it towards Vada without looking.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Vada replied, taking the blunt awkwardly between her fingers and lifting it to her lips. She took a shorter drag this time, making sure to hold it like he had taught her then slowly blew it out, closing her mouth slightly so the smoke blew out of her nose as well, making her giggle silently at the sensation.

"You just don't look the type to swear," he licked his lips, closing his eyes, "Daddy said you can't swear, so you don't"

"Daddy doesn't give a shit" Vada sighed, before realising how self-pitying she sounded, "but oh well" she added, taking the blunt back to her mouth and taking another, slightly longer, drag then handing it back to Jaden, who took it gladly.

"Oh... daddy issues?" He smirked as he blew the smoke out in short blasts, "good to know" Vada laughed at his statement, raising an eyebrow.

"Why's that?"

"Girls with daddy issues hit different" he giggled slightly at his statement, causing Vada to laugh in return as she, again, stared at him.

His head leaned against the fan, eyes closed and blunt in his hand, he looked like a Pinterest aesthetic. Vada wished she could take a picture, to have this memory forever. She'd print it out, slip it into the border of her mirror and look at it when she wanted this life again. Realistically, after tonight she would never see Jaden again and she'd forever be stuck wishing she lived a life like a picture suggested she did.

"I'm not so sure about that..." Vada trailed off, looking forward again, seeing the lights in the distance on the side of the mountains.

"You're a prime example" Vada licked her lips and looked down, a slight blush came to her cheeks. She looked at him but his eyes were still closed, he brought this hand up to take a drag before offering it out to her, his eyes still closed.

Vada looked at it before once again taking a few drags, closing her own eyes and letting out a deep breath.

She wondered if Maeve and Violet were looking for her, they probably weren't; Maeve was too preoccupied with Avani and Violet looked cozy next to Bryce on the sofa when they had walked past. They'd worry about her tomorrow when they finally noticed, then they'd fuss and rant until they found her - it was usual.
