Never had Vada been so comfortable yet so uncomfortable at the same time as she was when she woke up. The ground underneath her was rock solid and cold against her skin, but the body against her gave her warmth and happiness.

Vada finally opened her eyes, the sun was still rising and the birds had just started singing. Jaden still slept soundly next to her, not bothered by their songs.

Vada removed her leg from in between his as well as the arm from around his waist and carefully removed his arm from around her, trying her best not to wake the peaceful boy.

She looked around the roof, her head wobbling and blurring her vision, maybe she had a little bit too much to drink last night. Vada saw nothing but empty chocolate wrappers and an empty bottle of vodka.

She hadn't brought a bag with her, she never did to parties, she brought the usual; her phone, $15 in the phone case and the lipstick and gloss she was wearing. It usually did her well.

Vada stood up, stretching slightly and yawning, reaching into her skirt pocket for her phone.

Jesus...she was an early riser but this was ridiculous, they mustn't have got to sleep until around 4am.

She scrolled down her notifications.

She'd have to come up with an excuse later, but right now she wanted nothing more than to go home shower and get into an actual bed.

Vada turned and looked at the still sleeping boy, he looked beautiful in the morning glow, even in his sleep he looked like a Greek God.

She wondered if she should leave him her number, no that'd seen too desperate, he'd probably see it when he woke up and laugh, think about how stupid she was to think she was something special. However, she didn't want to leave him with nothing.

After five minutes of thinking Vada decided to leave him a lipstick kiss on his cheek, it was simple but left a mark. She pulled out her light pink lipstick, putting on a generous amount then walking back over to him, leaning down and kissing his cheek as lightly as she could, yet still firmly enough to leave a mark.

She pulled away when he stirred, his eyebrows furrowed and a smile tugged at his lips. Vada stood up, taking one last look at him then walked back to the door and down the stairs, grabbing the empty bottle and wrappers on her way.

Vada didn't quite remember her way down stairs but got there eventually, it wasn't that hard considering the staircase was huge.
