"Vada, Avani!" The two girls suddenly heard as they excited the cafe, drawing their attention to a small group crossing the road towards them.

At first Vada thought they were fans, until she noticed a mop of familiar blond hair.

"Nick?" She called back, laughing slightly as the group met, "what are you guys doing?"

"We've just eaten, now we're going back to Hype, but everyones out" Dixie was explained, jumping in front of Nick to hug Vada.

"Do you guys want to come?" Nick asked, keeping his eyes trained on Vada, quickly flicking his gaze to Avani before going back to her.

"Yeah" Avani agreed for the both of them, smiling as she intertwined her arms with Vadas and Dixies, skipping off and away from the boys.

"Come on!" Dixie shouted back to the small group made up of Nick, Ryland, Tony and Chase.

"So, where is everyone?" Avani mused, opening the fridge to grab a bottle of water.

"Out" Chase answered shortly, only receiving an over exaggerated nod from Avani.

"Oh, so much information, thank you" the group laughed, Chase only shook his head and rolled his eyes before joining in.

"Lets do something!" Dixie stood up suddenly, stretching her arms above her head and clicking her neck.

"Pool?" Ryland suggested, cocking his head.

"Yes!" Avani jumped up but her face fell as she realised something, "we have nothing to swim in"

"We can borrow Kouvrs, or i'm sure me and Charli have left some" Dixie suggested, the two girls nodded and followed her up the stairs.

"Cannonball!" Nick shouted as him and Chase jumped in the pool, quickly followed by Ryland and Tony, all the while Avani, the only one in the pool beforehand, screamed as she was covered in water.

Vada and Dixie stood to the side of the pool laughing, until they noticed the groups focus fixed on them, mischievous smiles on their face.

Quick enough Vada and Dixie were splashed and pulled into the pool, the coldness running through their bodies.

"Lets play Chicken!" Chase shouted, bending down so that Avani could clamber her way onto his shoulders, Ryland doing the same for Dixie and Nick for her, Tony opted to be a 'fair' referee, however his slight smile in Nicks direction gave Vada some hope of winning.

"Ready?" He asked, looking between the three groups, "go!" He shouted as they nodded.

From there it was a free for all, each trying to push anybody off, the boys kicking each other under the water and splashing each other to add to the challenge.

"Vada, no!" Avani shouted as she fell backwards, holding tightly onto Chases shoulders, taking him with her as she fell backwards into the water, "I thought we were friends!" She shouted dramatically as she emerged from the water.

"Theres no friends in war!" Nick shouted back, turning them to face Dixie and Ryland, Dixies eyes full of competition.

Nicks hands gripped Vadas thighs tighter as he waded through the water, her arms up and ready to attack. Dixie and Vadas hands clasped, as they pushed against each other, both laughing but with a hint of challenge to them.

"Nick no!" Vada shouted as he wobbled as Ryland pushed him backwards, however him letting go of Dixie shortly gave Vada a chance to push her off of his shoulders.

Vada leaned forward, pushing Dixie with all the power in her body, admittedly probably putting too much effort into a pool game.

"Ryland!" Dixie shouted as she fell back, her hands grabbing into Rylands hair, pulling him backwards with his neck turned uncomfortably.

"Yes! We won!" Vada shouted, leaning down to hug Nick whilst still on his shoulders, "now let me down"

"No can do, Vay" she could hear the smirk in his voice.

"What do you me-" she started to ask but was caught off guard when he jumped up, falling backwards so that the two of them fell under the water too.

He twisted round, keeping hold of her legs to push her more under the water, she could hear them all laughing at her struggle and couldn't help but laugh herself under the water.

"Nick!" She shouted, laughing, "I nearly drowned!"

"But did you?" He asked innocently, a slight smirk threatening to creep through.

"I'm watching you, Austin"

"That's creepy of you, Delaney" he countered, splashing water at her.

"Yeah, well-"

"Vada, your phones ringing" Avani cut her off, pointing to where her phone laid on a sun bed, buzzing around.

Vada swam to the edge of the pool, jumping out and drying her hands before picking up her phone, not looking at the contact.

"Hello?"

"Vay, hi" she smiled instantly, hearing the voice of her boyfriend.

"Oh, hi Jae"

"Where are you?" He asked.

"I'm at Hype, why?" She turned around, seeing the group talking amongst themselves.

"I wanted to know if you wanted to come to my apartment, we could smoke, watch a movie...have some fun" she could practically see the smirk on his face through the phone.

"Some fun? Well i'm having a lot of fun here" she smiled, teasing him, she heard Avani giggle from the pool, looking in her direction showing that she had heard her part of the conversation.

"Babygirl, you're coming over tonight, end of story, i'll pick you up in an hour" she bit her lip as he spoke, she lived it when he was dominant like this.

"Okay Jae, see you then" she hung up, putting her phone down as she slipped into the pool.

"What did he want?" Nick asked nonchalantly, leaning him arms back against the side of the pool.

"He's going to pick me up in an hour so that we can spend some time together" Vada told him, missing the disappointed look on his face.

"Oh...okay"

"So you guys are still dating?" Chase asked, taking a sip from his drink before setting it back down on the side of the pool.

"Yeah, we're just not really telling fans, and I don't think we will for a long time" she explained, "people are still so hung up on him and Mads and are determined to get them back together, i'd get so much hate"Chase nodded, smiling slightly.

"You can trust us Vay"

"Thanks Chase, I know I can"
