⋆Vada⋆"Ryan?" She heard shuffling in the living room, "what are you doing here?"
"I had to see you" he told her, licking his lips, desperation in his eyes.
"But you went home..." she thought out loud, furrowing her eyebrows, bewildered by him being there, "why are you back?"
"I have nothing for me in Texas!" He told her, taking her hands in his own and pulling her outside, "but here I have you"
"Ryan..." she sighed, pulling her hands from his tight grip, "I don't know what to tell you..."
"Tell me you love me" he practically begged, "please, I need to hear it again" she could see the desperation in his eyes.
"Ryan..." she let out a heavy breath, trying her best to think of a way to let the broken boy down gently, "we've been over for months, why now?"
"Why not now! I love you Vay, and I can't keep it to myself anymore. Tell me you love me too!" Anguish in his eyes as he pulled her towards him, "please..."
Vada wished she was brave enough to tell him her true feelings; that she was over him.
She'd cried over him for months after he left, believing that their relationship would be the best thing to ever happen to her. However, she was quickly proven wrong when she met Jaden.
Jaden and her, no matter how short their time together was, would always be a bigger part of her life than her whole relationship with Ryan.
She wished that she could scream, tell Ryan how much he had hurt her and that she would never love him; that she had experienced a brighter side to love and she'd never go back.
But, Vada had this ever ending need to please everybody. Even Ryan, the person who she had once thought would be the one to hurt her more than anybody - until she met Jaden that is.
"Ryan, I-"
"I think it's time for you to go" a stern voice cut her off, making both of them spin arounc to see who it belonged to, but she already knew.
Jaden.
"This has nothing to do with you, Hossler" Ryan practically spat, his grip on Vadas arm not loosening.
"Let her go" Jaden stopped in between each word, basically growling out the sentence.
"She can speak for herself" Ryan told him.
Vada stood speechless, looking between the two boys as they held their glares.
Nobody else had ventured out of the house, probably strapped down to their seats by Anthony and Avani in an attempt to keep their secret.
"You've never been too bothered by her opinion before" Jaden shot back, referencing the multiple times that Vada had told him about Ryan not caring for her input.
"She loves me" Ryan shot back, dragging her until she stood behind him, blocking Vadas view of Jaden.
"Do you really think that?" Jaden laughed out loud, shaking him head, mocking Ryan; which only made him angrier.
"I don't think; I know." Ryan laughed back, it was like they had forgotten all about Vada being there, " I also know that she will never love you, no matter what you think" now he was taunting him.
And, although she couldn't see him, Vada could sense the pissed look on Jadens face.
Ryans words hit a lot harder than he knew. He had no clue about their relationship, much like most of the other people in their life. He must have mistaken Jaden and Vadas usual closeness as a crush, so tried his best to push it. His words were empty threats to himself, but they cut Jaden deeper than he'd ever know.
She'd never told Jaden that she loved him and he'd never said either, honestly she'd never really thought about it. But was sure that she'd felt more love and alive in the few months she'd spent with Jaden than with the years she's spent with Ryan.
"Yeah, maybe she doesn't love me" she could hear the smirk in his voice and knew what he was about to say, he said it so often you'd think it was his biggest accomplishment, "but at least I can make her cum"
Vada was frozen in place, shocked at the scene unfolding around her.
Ryan had launched himself at Jaden, determined to hurt him, shouting about lies as Jaden fought him back.
Jaden was stronger than Ryan in every way, so it was no surprise that he was on top of Ryan, hitting him repeatedly.
And Josh, who had unexpected creeped out of the door in time to hear Jadens loud announcement, was just as shocked as Vada, if not more.
"I knew it!" His shouts barely got through the fog in Vadas mind at that time.
He looked around, not quite sure what to do, until he saw Vada, a distraught look on her face as she nearly broke.
Josh ran to meet the small girl before she could fall to her knees, catching her in his arms and keeping her stable.
"Guys!" He shouted, trying to capture Jadens face before he could beat Ryan any more.
Ryans eyes flickered to him, causing Jadens own to follow and as soon as he caught a glance of Vadas emotionally wounded face he stopped his brutal assault.
"Vay-" he started but was cut off as Ryan took advantage of his weakness, flipping them over so he was the one with power, and he retaliated quickly; hitting Jaden multiple times just as hard.
"Help!" Josh called, carrying Vada away from the scene and placing her into Avanis unlocked car.
Anthony came running from the house, practically tackling Ryan from on top of his friend. The other boys came running out too, helping Jaden to his feet as Dixie slowly and unsurely made her way to Ryan, seeing if he was okay too; again her heart was too pure.
Avani ran around the car, quick to get in and start to drive, taking Vada away from the action full driveway and towards Josh and Jaden's new apartment that Anthony had given her to keys too.
How had one night turned out to bad?
