NYLA by Blackbear played softly into Vadas ear as she laid in her bed, her sad playlist on. She was awake, just staring at the wall and thinking; what was she doing?

Vada missed being in a relationship, she had to break up with her last boyfriend, Ryan, when she had moved to LA. It was a mutual agreement that long distance wouldn't work. Therefore, her new 'relationship' with Jaden was messing with her mind, majorly.

What was she thinking?; that their secret, early morning rendezvous would last forever? That one day he'd love her?

Sure, when they were alone he wasn't afraid to tease her, to joke around with her and constantly need to touch her. However, when they were around people he'd ignore her, well ignore her enough for others not to notice-apart from Anthony that is.

Even with her short time knowing Jaden, she was aware that he didn't like to show his weak side, so just having Jaden be comfortable around her should be enough. But for some reason it wasn't.

"You okay Vay-Bay?" Violet called in a soft voice from her bed where she had spotted Vada's gloomy disposition.

"Yeah..." Vada whispered, barely loud enough for Violet to hear.

"No, you're not" she stated, sitting up and walking to Vadas bed, dragging her feet across the fur rug. Violet slipped into the bed next to Vada and hugged her from behind, spooning her, "really, what's wrong?"

"Nothing..." Vada wiped a small tear from her eye, but Violet couldn't see.

"Vay...if somethings wrong you can tell me"

Vada stayed quiet, grabbing onto Violets hand and intertwining their fingers. She wanted nothing more than to spill her guts to Violet, but something stopped her, something she couldn't explain.

It was her idea to keep it a secret in the first place, so why now did she feel so guilty?

"A hug without me? Well now I just feel unloved" Maeve joked, walking into the room.

"Come on, you big baby" Vada laughed, pulling her arm back so Maeve could slip in to their threeway hug.

"So, why the hug and..." she paused looking at Vadas phone, "oh, the sad playlist: what's wrong?" Vada let out a large sigh, hugging Maeve closer.

"Nothing, just not my day I guess" she lied.

"Well, we can stay in tonight, if you want"

"Instead of...?"

"We were going to go to Sway" Violet told her, rubbing the back of Vadas hand with her thumb.

"No" she said, a little too fast, "we should go" Maeve turned her head, studying her face.

"I can't come between Violet and Bryce now can I?" Maeve laughed, reaching her hand back to poke Violets face, but she only whined.

"Shut up...we've hardly even talked" she sounded sad, but her face was still smiling.

"If you're up for it, we leave in an hour"

This should be interesting, all of them together and some time to see how Jaden would treat her in a group.

"Vada!" Anthony shouted, opening the door to let the girls in, he pulled Vada in for a quick hug before he walked back to his spot on the couch.

Not many people were downstairs, only Anthony, Kio Dixie and Griffin. Dixie and Griffin were cuddled up on the love seat, Vada couldn't help the small smile that came to her face, she was happy for Dixie.

"Hey Vay," Dixie greeted her, smiling at the others.

"So...what you been up to, Vada. Early morning walks?" The smirk in Anthonys voice was heard throughout the room, much to the confusion of everyone else.

"Yep," she answered shortly, looking down with a blush.

"So who took the phot-"

"Maeve!" A shrill voice shouted as a small girl came running from the kitchen, jumping on Maeve and knocking her over.

"Avani!" She shouted back.

Anthony smiled looking Avanis way before standing up to go see her, he was totally whipped, but in a good way.

"Vada, nice to see you again" Avani greeted with a smile, it looked genuine but Vada knew better.

"Yeah, you too" she replied, looking anywhere but her eyes.

"Right, what movie are we watching?" Kio spoke up from the couch, reaching for the remote and changing to netflix. Everybody made their way to the couches, Vada a little behind, and sat down. However, due to a lack of space, Vada ended up standing behind the couch, leaning her hands on it.

"An action" Griffin spoke up.

"No! Romance" Dixie said, pushing his face away and laughing.

"How about a comedy?" A voice came from the stair way, Vada turned and saw Jaden walking towards them, not even looking at her as he stood next to her.

"Jaden you find Adam Sandler funny, no" Bryce cut in, coming down after him and walking to Violet.

"Shut it" he laughed, moving his hand closer to Vadas slowly, eventually moving his pinky finger to intertwine with hers.

Vada smiled lightly, looking down and blushing. Sure, it wasn't a grand gesture, but he had made a move that was sweet, it showed his soft side and Vada loved that.

"Let's just wait until everybody gets here then vote" Vada suggested, tired of the arguing they'd been doing for about ten minutes.

"What a great idea, what would we do without you?" Avani spoke quietly, rolling her eyes.

Vada looked down, embarrassed.

"Don't hear you with any smart ideas Vani" Jaden spoke next to her, moving his body to stand slightly infront of Vadas, dragging her arm behind him, protecting her from Avanis view.

"Fine, a vote" Anthony said, smiling, trying his best to defer from an argument.

"Thank you..." Vada whispered as the group started speaking, Josh and Nessa finally coming down stairs.

"I got you, Babygirl" he whispered back.

Yeah, he did.

Procrastination is acc my biggest con like I find anything to do instead of essays.
So imma delete loads of apps off my phone and acc get these essays done they're due tomorrow at 4pm so guess i'll be back after that :)
