"Bye Vay!" Dixie shouted as Vada collected her things, "don't have too much fun" she winked, earning a sarcastic eye roll from Vada as she laughed.

"We won't, bye guys" she waved to the group who yelled back their goodbyes. Avani, who had sat with the girl whilst she was waiting for Jaden, stood up to walk her out, hugging her after opening the door.

"Love you, have fun" she smirked.

"Yeah, yeah, love you too" Vada laughed again, walking down the steps to Jadens car, she smiled brightly at him through the tinted windows.

"Hey babygirl, how was breakfast?" He asked, pulling off quickly as she pulled on her seatbelt.

"It was good, the pancakes were amazing" she mused, pushing her bags on the floor. She pulled her leg up to rest on the seat, turning to look at him.

"Yeah? So you're not hungry" he raised an eyebrow, leaning forward slightly to see past her as he pulled out of a junction.

"I could eat" she shrugged, smiling slightly as he shook his head laughing, looking at her quickly.

"Taco bell?" She nodded enthusiastically, making him laugh as he pulled into the drive way.

"You didn't get me Taco Bell!" Josh shouted as he saw the fairly new couple walk into the apartment, Taco Bell boxes in Jadens hands, her own bags in Vadas.

"I thought you were at Sway" Jaden told him shrugging, closing the door as he led Vada to the stairs.

"I'm going now, but a Taco would have been nice" he pouted, standing up after he tied his laces.

"Well, that seems like a you problem" Vada shrugged, not being able to withhold the smile coming to her face.

"You're on thin ice, Delaney" he squinted his eyes at her, moving his two fingers from his eyes to her direction in an 'i'm watching you' motion.

"Ohh...i'm shaking" she laughed, walking up the stairs as she heard him shout something like 'this means war' before walking out the door.

"So..." Jaden started as he flopped down on the bed next to her, "Vampire Diaries?"

"Do you even need to ask?"

"Wait, I don't understand" Jaden stated confused, tilting his head at the screen, "so Kai is trapped in another world?" Vada pushed herself up with her hand, taking her head off of his chest.

"Yeah, he's trapped in time"

"Because he murdered his whole family?" She could see him brain working to make sense of the show as he watched.

"Most of them, except the twins and Jo"

"His twin?" He looked to her to make sure.

"Yeah"

"So how was he trapped there?" He asked again, Vada couldn't help but smile; he looked so cute when he was confused.

"Because of the witches"

"Witches? I thought they were vampires" Vada couldn't help but laugh at him.

She'd tried to make him watch the show over the past month but he had hardly been paying attention, so they did have conversations like this a lot.

"Stupid" she teased him, shaking her head.

"That's mean" he told her pouting.

"It's not my fault you're stupid" she told him, laughing as he pulled her body closer to his, moving her on top of him.

"You've got meaner, Maeve must be rubbing off on you" he joked, his laugh kind of forced, like he meant his words.

"And what is that supposed to mean?" She asked him, trying to keep her voice casual, not wanting to start a fight.

"It means...you're nice, and Maeve is nice...some of the time" he tried to word it correctly, tip toeing around what he actually wanted to say. His fingers danced up her arm, moving her hair from her shoulder and tucking it behind her ear.

"Maeve is just Maeve, shes territorial and needs to warm up to you" she told him, holding onto his large hand with both of her small ones, playing with the rings on his fingers.

"I've known her for seven months, she still seems pretty cold" he sighed, taking his hand from her grip as he pushed himself up onto his elbows, she slid down his body as he sat up, ending up on his lap.

"If you don't like Maeve just say it" Vada sighed, seeing where the conversation was going.

"It's not that I don't like her..."

"Right" she rolled her eyes, moving to get off of his body but was stopped when he sat up straight, his hands gripping her waist.

"Vada, stop, you know that's not what I meant and you know it" Jaden sighed, his head going back in exasperation so his neck was exposed, the veins in his neck prominent.

"Then what did you mean, Jae?" She continued staring at his neck, licking her lips as he swallowed, his Adams apple bobbing up and down.

"Look, you didn't like Avani when you first met, and she was my friend, it's the same as that, maybe I just need to spend more time with Maeve" he tried to reason, finally putting his head back straight, noticing how her eyes were trained on his neck.

"More time with Maeve?" She asked, biting her lip, "I can set that up too, with Violet too" he nodded.

"Sounds good" he was starring at her lips now, urning to jump forward and capture them in his own.

"Yeah, i'll set it up" she shuffled forward, he had to suppress a moan as she accidentally grinded against him.

"Okay," he moved his head to the side, opening up his neck for her, and that was all the invitation she needed so leap forward, stopping just before she reached his skin.

He could feel her light breaths hit the sensitive skin on his neck, his hands tightened on her waist, pushing her down slightly.

"Stop, teasing, babygirl" he whispered in her ear as she peppered a light kiss on his neck. That was all the encouragement she needed to attack his neck with wet kisses, her stomach exploding in butterflies as he moaned into her neck.
