Vada

"Avani hurry up! We need to go" Griffin shouted from the front door, the boys had just got back and were ready to drive the group back to Texas to meet Jaden and Bryce as they got out. The group in question being; Griffin, Josh, Anthony, Avani and of course Vada.

Griffin had questioned why Vada was coming but she played it off like she was going to visit her family and would stop with them along the way, it wasn't a lie she really was planning to go see her family, even if they were on the other side of Texas.

"I'm coming, calm your ass. They'll still be there if we're five minutes late" she stated, walking down the stairs, tightening her belt.

"Yeah, it's not like they can go anywhere," Josh stifled a laugh as he receiving flat faces from the group, "anyways...lets go"

Griffin pulled open the van's sliding door, letting them jump in then got in the drivers seat, Josh jumped in the passenger seat, leaving the three to talk in the back.

"Are you okay?" Avani asked, sitting in the seat next to Vada and grabbing her hand.

"I will be once he-they're out" she stated, squeezing her hand tight.

"Vada, how have you stollen my girlfriend?" Anthony asked, popping his head between the head rests, making the girls giggle.

"She just loves me more" Vada joked, pulling Avani into her chest, Avani held onto Vadas arms like she would if it was Anthony hugging her.

"Sorry Anthony, but i've moved on" they giggled again looking at Anthonys shocked face.

"I think I liked it more when you guys hated each other" he spoke shaking his head before sitting back in his seat, ignoring the girls laughing more.

"Seriously," Avani told her as she noticed Vada tugging at her fingers, "he'll be fine... we have the bail money and we're going to get them, they'll be out soon"

Vada nodded, she just had a bad feeling that this was only the start of their troubles.

Vada sat on the steps to the van, Jadens hoodie in her lap, she had packed him some clothes, sure he'd want a change after his time spent in an orange jumpsuit. That was before she remembered he was on a holiday before and obviously had his own clothes, but the hoodie had made her feel more at peace as they waited.

"They're coming out in a minute" Griffin told the group as he walked towards them, he'd been in to discuss the details, obviously being the most mature of the group.

"See, they're fine" Avani whispered in her ear, wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

Vada let out a steady breath, hearing the loud beep as the gate opened , seeing two familiar figures walking towards them. Vada stood, catching the hoodie before it fell to the floor.

"Bro, thank you so much...I owe you my life" Josh babbled as he hugged Bryce tight, not letting go.

"It's okay buddy" Bryce replied, patting hid back and pulling away, "what are friends for?"

"I don't know sleepovers? Not usually being arrested" Anthony cut in, making the boys laugh.

However, Vada wasn't focusing on them, she was busy staring at the boy who stood at the front of the van, talking to Griffin in a hushed voice. She wanted to run towards him, pull him into a hug and never let go, but she couldn't. Not now at least.

"Hey Vay" Bryce called out, pulling her into a quick hug, apparently just seeing her, also alerting Jaden to her presence.

"Hey Bryce" she replied, squeezing him a little tighter than usual.

They pulled apart as Bryce moved in to hug Avani quickly, leaving Vada a perfect view of Jaden, he smiled lazily at her, walking around the other side if the van, nodding his head in the direction to bring her with him.

Vada waited a couple of seconds before sneaking around the back of the van, looking at Jadens back as he was facing away from her. She couldn't help herself, she ran forward, wrapping her arms around his waist, startling him. He laughed softly, turning around in her tight grip and wrapping his arms around her shoulders just as tight, rocking them back and forth.

"I'm okay" he whispered, kissing her forehead before resting his chin on her head.

"You're fucking stupid, is what you are" she told her, not letting go.

"You've said" he laughed, pulling back to look at the girl who had tears in her eyes.

He leaned down, catching her lips in his own quickly before pulling away.

"I missed you" he told her as she finally let go.

"So did I. Here," she held out his hoodie, "I just thought you'd want a change of clothes" she told him, seeing him raise an eyebrow.

"I have a suitcase" he told her, making her laugh and nod.

"I realised, but at least I got to hug something this whole way..."

"Do you want another? One that actually still smells like me," he suggested, watching her eyes light up, "i'll take that as a yes" he laughed, leading her to the back of the van and un zipping his suitcase, he took the hoodie from her hands and handed her another, pulling it over her head with no argument from her. This one was a teal colour with the word 'drew' on the front and was a lot bigger than the last, it hung off of her, covering the purple skirt she had worn.

"Yo Jae, Vay you guys ready to go?" Griffin shouted from the front if the van.

"Yeah, lets go" Jaden shouted back, wrapping his arm around Vadas shoulder one last time to direct her to the van, helping her up and to the back seats, smiling.

"Loving the hoodie Vada" Avani popped up over the seats in front of them, winking.

"Oh really? It's new" Vada laughed, making Avani roll her eyes and join in, much to Jadens confusion.

"Wait but I thought-" he started, once Avani had turned around.

"You missed a lot when you were away" she told him simply, leaning into his chest, "i'll catch you up later"
