Jaden had a way about him that had entranced Vada since they met, even just the normal things; the way he blew smoke in short blasts as he laughed or the way he licked his lips a bit too often, she couldn't get enough of it.

But sat on an old wall, his feet just touching the ground, a joint between his lips as he spoke nonsense, he'd never looked better to Vada.

Vada had never been one to get attached, she assumed the worst out of situations because the worst usually came. Yet here she was, sat close enough to smell his cologne not knowing how the night would go with a stomach full of excitement.

"So..." he started, "you gunna tell me what's wrong yet?" He held the blunt out to her.

"Maybe" she sighed, taking a large hit and closing her eyes, "it just...it's stupid"

Jaden rolled his eyes, sighing loudly and taking the blunt from her hand.

"Just tell me Vada, I can't be assed with the whole thing" his words were harsh and spiteful, spat through his teeth.

"Jae..."

"No, come on just fucking tell me" It hardly came from a place of warmth or acceptance, Vada swallowed deeply biting her lip as she felt her throat swell; she hated how easy it was to make her cry.

"We were out today," she started looking to him, but he was too focused on the grinder he was playing with, "and Avani was just...not very nice" Vada tried to sugar coat it.

"'Not very nice'?" Jaden asked raising an eyebrow tauntingly, "sorry, I wasn't aware we were still in fifth grade" he rolled his eyes, pushing the blunt into her hand and got off the wall.

"You're upset because Vani made a comment?" He asked.

"Not a comment..." Vada stood up throwing the butt of the blunt away and walking after him, but stopped after a few steps and pushed herself back onto the wall. She didn't want to follow him around like a lost puppy, but that's what she felt like when she was with him.

"What did she say then?;Your eyebrows uneven? Your outfit was shit?"He teased, shaking his head in disbelief.

"She just...messed with my head; said I was a shit friend, told me to stay away from Anthony" she didn't really want to tell him, it was obvious he didn't care which showed Vada one thing: he hadn't brought her out tonight to cheer her up, he had brought her out for his own benefit.

"What Vani?" His tone raised in question as he turned around to face Vada again, an unsure look on his face. She only nodded in return.

"Nah," he shook his head, "not Vani, she wouldn't hurt a fly"

"She would if it was called Vada" She stated, he laughed walking back towards her.

Jaden grabbed her thighs as he reached her, standing in between her legs.

"She'll get over it" he whispered, taking a strand of her hair and pushing it behind her ear then moving his hand down to rest on the back of her neck, pulling her closer, "let's just forget about her right now, yeah?"

"And how do you suggest I do that?" Vada teased, biting her lip and looking into his eyes.

"I might have a few ideas" he responded, looking between her eyes and her lips before pulling her forward by her neck and catching her lips with his own.

The kiss was harsh and lustful, like all of their kisses had been, not that Vada was complaining. She loved the thrill he gave her as he held her head firm against his.

His other hand trailed further up her thigh as she pulled lightly on the ends of his hair.

He groaned into the kiss as she did so, deepening the kiss by pushing his tongue into her mouth, not that she fought it she just let it happen. Jaden had already proved himself to be a good kisser at the party, but this was something else.

Although, Vada's mind couldn't help but wonder as his hands wandered her body. Had he only brought her out tonight as an excuse to get high and maybe get some action? She hoped not, that wasn't something Jaden would do, but yet again she hadn't even known him a week.

"Jae" she gasped, pushing against his chest and pulling her head back, "stop, wait"

"What?" He asked, moving his head down to her neck, sucking and pecking at the skin lightly as she spoke.

"It's just," she stopped, her mouth opening to a light moan, "it's just, I want to know what's going on" he stopped.

"What do you mean?"

"You're all aloof; act like you care but really only brought me here to fuck and forget about" she started, staring at her hands as he pulled back from her. Jaden sighed, staying in between her legs his hands resting on the wall either side if her, "well, i'm not going to be just another slut to you" she started to get off the wall.

"Vada-"

"You might think I am but-"

"Vada"

"-I'm not and you can't treat me like-"

"Vada!" He shouted, finally getting her attention.

"What!" She shouted back, noticing she was trapped between him and the wall, nowhere to go.

"What are you talking about?" He looked genuinely confused as he stared into her eyes.

"You're just using me Jaden..."

"And where've you got that from?" He asked, shaking his head still not letting her leave.

"It's just-"

"Because last time I checked; you were the one that left me in the morning, and you were the one that lied to your friends, i'm just here for the ride" he stated, smiling smugly as he moved his hands to rest on her waist, standing up straight.

"I just... I don't know" she confessed, wrapping her arms round his neck.

"Then, until you do we'll keep this on the down low" he suggested, looking at her lips, "don't tell anyone, but we still get to fuck, sounds good" he smirked as she rolled her eyes, of course he only thought about the sex.

"Don't you have plenty of other girls to screw"

"No," he rolled his eyes, "Mads has taken care of that" he continued as he saw Vadas confused face, "she's made sure I haven't been able to fuck anybody in months; since we broke up" he explained.

"So..."

"So, maybe a lowkey thing would do some good"

"Okay...lowkey" she leaned in, pushing her lips to his.

At least now she knew where they stood.

I kind hate this chapter so much and idk why maybe bc i think i've made jaden too nice in the last chapter so i'm trying to over compensate idk
