It was sad for Vada to think that not even half a year ago she only had a handful of friends, and an even smaller amount of them actually cared about her.

If Violet wasn't making the plans Vada would rarely be included and even when she was invited it was because Violet had brought her along anyway. At the time she hardly knew Maeve, because of the fact she lived in another state, but she was sure that Maeve would have stood up for her too.

So it was pretty insane to think she was in a house with many people that cared about her and, without getting too cringy, she was happy to have met the Sway and Hype house.

"No, no!" Noah screamed as he stood up, throwing his hands up in frustration as Maeve laughed at him.

"I would like my $20, please" she smiled smugly, holding her hand out.

"Best of three" Noah shook his head, unable to accept the fact he had lost to Maeve at Mario Kart.

"You said winner takes all!" She argued back, standing up too whilst the rest of the group laughed at them.

"And now i'm saying best of three!" He shouted back in the same jokey tone.

"Who's idea was it to let them play?" Violet asked laughing, she had seen Maeve being stubborn everyday so it wasn't a shock, but putting her up against somebody who was just as stubborn if not more was a dangerous game to play.

"I don't know but I call next," Jaden stated, falling onto the couch next to Vada, his arm going around her shoulder. She leaned closer into him, not noticing the few comfused looks they got from around the room.

"I will destroy you" Vada challenged him, raising her eyebrows slightly in excitement.

"Sounds like fun" he smirked, winking afterwards. Vada laughed at him, pushing his face away, but he pulled her in closer, kissing her lips lightly as she still giggled.

"Woah...what?" Bryce, who was sat cuddled up with Violet, asked in confusion, "since when was this a thing?"

"Since like...three days ago" Vada confirmed, smiling up at Jaden. Due to Josh's request to be 'in on the secret' for a few days they'd only told the people that knew about them in the first place; Anthony, Avani, Violet, Josh and Maeve, who pretty much threatened Jaden the same way Violet did but a lot more graphically and with a lot more cruelty.

"Are you guys talking or...?" He trailed off, pointing between the two.

"No, we're dating" Jaden smiled, pulling Vada into his shoulder.

Bryce's face showed his surprise, maybe they were good at hiding their relationship after all.

"Wait," he turned to Violet, who was smiling at the two and their cuteness, "you knew about this?"

"Well, obviously" she shrugged, "Vada's my best friend"

"Well Jadens mine and I never knew" he argued, throwing a pointed look at Jaden, who ran his hand through the hair on the back of his head with an awkward smile.

"Sorry buddy, if it makes you feel better, Josh only found out two days ago"

"Why would that make me feel better?" He raised his train track eyebrow, "I'm the second Sway boy to find out, that's harsh" he joked, shaking his head in mock disappointment.
