⋆Vada⋆

Never had Vada been so happy about boiling hot water running down her back. Her hair felt crispy from the night before and the makeup she slept in wouldn't exactly do wonders for her skin, but in a way it was worth it.

She sighed, finally turning the shower off, and getting out wrapping a fluffy towel lightly around her body, letting her stringy hair touch her shoulders. The water droplets dripped down her chest, catching on her towel.

After lazily drying her hair and slipping on some pink satin shorts with a matching lace vest top, Vada jumped into her goose feather comforter hugging it between her legs.

It had been a long day and she missed her bed considerably, no matter how sad it sounded.

Vadas mind couldn't stop racing; in the last twelve hours she had met a boy that made her heart swell, a boy she couldn't get off of her mind no matter how hard she tried. He had squeezed his way in there with his nonchalant smirk and strong jawline and heavenly face...she was getting off track.

The fact of the matter was that she probably wouldn't see him again, it didn't matter what all of his friends said about seeing her round she was too nervous to go back.

She hopped that he was thinking about her but somewhere in her mind doubted it. Why would he? He'd probably done this a hundred times and would do it a hundred times more, and he's pr-

"Vada-Rose Delaney, you better be home young lady" A voice broke her from her mind.

"Me and your mother want to speak to you" another faux deep voice shouted.

"I'm in here" she spoke, he voice not elevating past her room door.

"Whats wrong boo?" Violet asked, deep voice gone, dropping her bag on her bed then jumping onto Vadas back.

"Get off-" she pushed her off, "i'm fine, just tired"

"Tired? You went home early to sleep, why are you tired?" Maeve asked, jumping onto the bottom of the bed, shoving her feet in Violets face.

"I'm always tired" Vada replied shortly, shutting her eyes.

Maeve and Violet looked at each other, both nodding to the other to ask the question.

"Vada" Maeve started after loosing their quiet game of rock, paper, scissors, "why did you go home early?"

"I told you already, I was tired"

"Then why didn't you come get us?" Violet asked, raising an eyebrow at Maeve.

"I didn't want to take you guys away, you were so happy" Vada mumbled into her pillow.

"We would have come with you" Violet comments, Maeve nodded along even tho Vada couldn't see.

"Nah, it's okay, just tell me what I missed" Maeve and Violet looked at each other, contacting silently, obviously both worried about their friend.

"Vada..."

"No" she sat up and finally looked at them, "i'm fine just tired" she plastered a fake smile across her face, "seriously, what did I miss?"

She was quite curious to know what happened once her and Jaden went upstairs.

"Well Bryce was on the roof-"

"She was there for that," Maeve cut in, "were you there when Nick and Tony jumped in the pool?"

"Yeah and Tony nearly drowned" Violet laughed and Maeve joined in. However, Vada didn't see the humour in it, but laugh along.

"Then Chase and Charli were dancing, it was so cute-"

"Yeah but then Anthony and Avani got into a fight" Maeve frowned, shaking her head.

"Did they?" Vada asked, worried for Anthony a lot more than Avani.

"Yeah, apparently Anthony was talking to another girl" Maeve said shaking her head, "I told her that she was better than her anyways so it didn't matter" Violet nodded along but Vada didn't, she wondered who the girl was.

"Who was it?"

"She wouldn't say, it was someone at the party though...Avani said she was all over him,"Maeve shook her head, "and I'm guessing he didn't stop her" she added bitterly, Vada remembered back to the night before when Anthony told her that Maeve didn't like him much, and she was starting to see it.

"And then he just disappeared when we were in Vani's room" Maeve continued.

"Maybe he was helping people..."Vada cut in, knowing full well that's what he was doing. She found herself easily sticking up for Anthony even though they had only met the night prior, she already knew they'd be great friends.

"Mmh maybe" Maeve mused "Yeah, anyway, Violet" she twisted to grab her hands, "I saw you and Bryce getting quite comfortable" she smirked, Vada smiled looking at Violets blushing face.

"Yeah..." she trailed off still blushing, "he's really...nice"

"Nice!" Maeve laughed, "we could hear you guys from downstairs" Vadas eyes widened, as Violet squealed.

"What?" She shouted.

"Yep" Maeve smirked, "So you didn't miss anything good, Vay"

"Oh, it was good" Violet whispered, smirking to herself.

"Vi!" They both shouted pushing her and laughing when she fell off the bed and hit the floor.

"If you don't want to know, don't ask!" She said back, laughing so hard she was bent over.

They had always been open with each other, but for some reason Vada didn't want to tell them about Jaden, not yet at least. Vada had never been one to date around, she had only had one boyfriend, that Violet wasn't keen on, and that was it; so if she told them about Jaden they wouldn't shut up and ultimately would end up upsetting her by getting her hopes up about the situation, after all it was a one night kind of thing.

"Anything else happen?"

"Oh, Mads was looking for Jaden all night, he went missing too" Vada breath caught in the throat at the mention of his name.

"Who's Mads?" She asked.

"Jadens ex"
