"Why the fuck is he here!" Maeve didn't even try and hide the disgust on her face as she walked into the lounge, seeing Ryan sat on the couch.

"He's staying tonight, only tonight, and then he's going home" Vada replied, eyeing Ryan as if to make sure he knew this was a one night deal.

"Why does he have to stay here?" Maeve continued, crossing her arms as they stared each other down.

"I'm just doing him a favour is all"

"Hmm" she scoffed, squinting at him.

The room fell quiet as the three sat down, Maeve and Vada having a conversation with their eyes whilst Ryan watched.

Maeve stared her down, basically screaming 'get him the fuck out' whereas Vadas eyes were softer but still annoyed.

"We're going to Sway tonight bitches so get re- what the fuck are you doing here?" Violet cut herself off when she turned, eyeing the boy with disgust.

"He's staying over" Maeve gave her a sarcastic smile, "so we can all have a big sleepover and become besties" she spoke over dramatically, scrunching up her shoulders and over exaggerating a smile before her face fell rapidly again.

"Give it a rest, Maeve" Vada rolled her eyes at her friends childishness, "I don't want to go to Sway, i'll stay here" Vada turned to tell Violet.

"So you'll stay here with Ryan...alone?" Violet questioned sceptically.

Usually, Vada wouldn't be able to think of anything worse than staying in an apartment alone with Ryan for the night, however now she could: going to Sway and seeing Jaden.

"Yeah, not going to happen get dressed" Maeve cut in, probably thinking that she was protecting her friend.

"No Maeve i'l-"

"Get dress, Vay, you're coming" she deadpanned, showing she wasn't playing around.

"What about me?" Ryan asked, flinching as Violet and Maeve's heads shot towards him.

"Go home?" Violet suggested whilst Maeve went for the more generic answer of 'fuck off'.

"Come with us" Vada spoke after a few seconds of awkward silence, "what? We can't leave him here" she told the two as they glared at her.

"Fine" Maeve growled after a few minutes of silence, "come"

"Vada!" Avani pulled her into a hug after she had greeted Maeve, "are you okay? How was work?" She asked quieter.

"It was good...but"she trailed off, casting her eyes to Ryan, making Avani follower her gaze.

"Who's that?"

"Ryan" she replied shortly, knowing that she had told Avani about him before, after their short 'meeting' in Texas.

"Oh Jesus Christ Vada, that's all you need tonight" she told Vada, pulling her in for a quick hug when they heard shouts from the living room.
