⋆Vada⋆"I don't know about this, Avani" Vada bit her lip as they pulled into the Sway house drive way.
"I've told you, Jaden's at his and Josh's new place; he's not here"
"I know but..." she paused. Truthfully she had missed the boys more than she thought she would, but she wanted to respect Jaden. These were his friends, not hers, so her hanging around would be rude on her part, "it'll just be awkward"
"What? No! The boys have missed you, they asked about you last week" Avani told her, getting out of the car.
Vada sighed before getting out herself, she hadn't been here in two months, since it happened. She had missed them all a lot, but was learning to live with it.
"We're here!" Avani shouted, walking into the Sway house before turning back to Vada, "we'll be here five minutes tops, I just need to get my stuff from Anthonys room" and just like that she was gone, running up the stairs.
For once, there seemed to be none of the Sway members in the living room or making TikToks, they must have all been upstairs or outside, but she wasn't complaining.
"Vay?" A voice startled her from behind, she spun around to see the tall boy, "hey, I haven't seen you in a while"
"Hey Josh" she smiled as he pulled her into a hug, "how are you? I'm sorry about Nessa" she told him, sorrow in her eyes as she watched his face drop.
"Yeah...i'm good, we're still friends though, so...that's good I guess" he gave her a tight lipped smile as they dropped into an awkward silence.
"Jadens fine, by the way" he told her, studying her face.
"Oh...that's good" she didn't want to give anything away about their relationship, deciding that he was probably just making conversation and not accusing her of anything.
"You guys haven't seen each other in a while...right?" He raised an eyebrow, pressing slightly.
It made her nervous.
"Well, I haven't seen any of the boys really" she side stepped the question.
"Hmm...yeah" he nodded, turning around as Avani came down the stairs, clasping her hands together.
"Bye Josh, we're going out" she told him, grabbing onto Vadas hand and dragging her out of the door before he could respond, leaving him alone in the room.
"He knows" Vada stated as they both closed the car doors.
"What? No, he doesn't"
"Jaden probably told him" she told Avani, throwing her head back into the chair, "I look like such an idiot"
"No, Vay, you don't." She assured her, "come on, we'll go shopping and get your mind off it, okay?" She asked, although she was already driving to the mall and had no intention of stopping.
"This would look so cute with your black jeans" Vada told Avani as she held up a black crop top with a red Chinese Dragon across it, "with your studded belt"
