It wasn't the first and last dinner with Chago at home, he's been invited to more dinners and even lunch for the past months and I think everything's going so well until my graduation day.

We talked with same decisions and all about moving in with him three months ago, it didn't work and we decided to just wait until my graduation so we wouldn't have a bad shot to the family because I wasn't also certain that it would work easily on Papa.

All in all, it was the best months of my life... or the best year.

"Congratulations!" Aiken was chuckling as he welcomed me in his arms.

For the past months, I learned to be more patient and considerate inside the family and the relationship with Chago. I learned to accept that Maricel and the other people would never be forced to love me as a family or even a friend, that made me a whole lot better person.

Thanks to these men who always got my back. Papa, Aiken, Winchell and Chago... the best men of my life.

"Congratulations to our lady!" Papa gave me a hug after Aiken.

I'm just so purely happy right now. "Salamat, Papa!"

He smiled and caressed my hair. "Let's take a picture and get out of here!"

Aiken was ready to take a pic but Tres came in that made me smile at him.

"Congrats, Zoia!" he said.

"Thank you, Tres! Congrats din!"

We hugged each other quickly.

"So, are you still in the after party?"

I shrugged.

"Oh, what's new to you?" he laughed. "But maybe next week? It's my birthday, remember? I invited you last week!"

I laughed and nodded. "Sure! Hindi ko naman nakalimutan!"

Aiken cleared his throat dramatically, I rolled my eyes.

"Kasama si Ago, kuya. Huwag ka ngang tsismoso r'yan!"

He mocked a laugh and shook his head, medyo lumayo.

"Well, that will do!" aniya.

I became friends with his friends, too. He took me in their circle, it was the memorable last months I had in Crestview University aside from having my old friends then.

He respected my relationship with Chago and we're good friends.

I introduced him to Aiken and Papa.

"Bro, can you?" he offered the camera and Tres nodded willingly.

After the picture taking, we talked happily for a bit and finally left the venue with my family.

"I was planning to take your mother and siblings—"

I sighed heavily. "Don't ever try, Aiken."
