of course, i have to start this out by
saying thank you.

thank you to any and everyone who's
read this book, from the very beginning,
to the ones who've joined towards the
end, to the ones who will read this in the
future, after this completion, and make
it to this ending.

i, as well as this book, have come a long
way, and i couldn't have done it without
everyone one of you who've contributed
to the almost 20,000 reads on this book,
with more to come.

i appreciate and love all of you, always
and forever, and i couldn't ever express
it enough.

the explanation:

aracely was a schizophrenic, battling
with hearing voices as well as seeing
hallucinations and figures, as well as
seeing and hearing people 'say' things
they haven't actually said.

her schizophrenia is linked to her
traumatic childhood, and her failure to
face it, and tendency to 'push it away'
and attempt to move on from it without
properly healing from it.

kaya has never said or done anything to
aracely that aracely has 'seen' or 'heard'.

however, every action and word of speech
in which kaya spoke to jahseh, was very
much real and true.

aracely's schizophrenia was on an energetic,
mental level. her schizophrenia typically
kicked in and acted towards people or
circumstances she felt 'bad vibes' from, or
negative energy.

the tension between aracely and kaya,
due to kaya's feelings for jahseh and
her sketchy behavior, made her the
principal target of aracely's schizophrenia,
because there was so much negative
energy radiating from kaya.

i attempted to, though was very subtle
with, note this in the story, in which it
was only when aracely and jahseh were
on bad terms that she 'heard' him say he
didn't want her and she didn't satisfy him,
or when stokeley was quite fed up with
aracely and kaya's fighting, and she 'heard'
him say those harsh words to her.

within herself, her dark and negative
energy seemed to spark her schizophrenia hallucinations and voices personally.

in sight, aracely's schizophrenia also
led her to hallucinate vividly, seeing a
girl that was not her whatsoever in the
mirror, who she would later turn out to
be after dying her hair and struggling
in the beginnings of her pregnancy, and
seeing kaya in the kitchen, shower, and
bathroom with her.

the dark, shadowy figure was a demon
in aracely's mind, solely a figment of her imagination, that arose after her 'rebirth',
being her suicide attempt in the pool
when she was 14 years old.

the figment of her imagination lived
off of her depression and thoughts,
as well as wishes, of death, along with
her anger, and her birthday wish of
passing before 18, which would be
almost like a deal with the devil,
playing with the forces of her mind
and energy.

as a result of her separation and
heartbreak, aracely would attempt to
'rebirth', beginning with a suicide attempt,
moving on to a change in appearance
(the red hair, tattoos), and a change in
mindset.

her heartbreak was the loss of her leaves,
the prompt for her to become a leafless
tree, free of attachments and restraints,
being that all she gained from such was
pain and heartbreak.

jahseh was, however, able to break her
free and essentially "grow her leaves back",
granting her attachment to him and
pulling her away from her loneliness.

jahseh suffers from schizophrenia,
just as aracely does, though is and
has been on medication since his
release from jail, and keeps it managed.
more so, he suffers from multiple
personality disorder, hence why the 'x'
character came out and lashed out at
aracely.

jahseh's schizophrenia should have
been apparent from the very beginning
of the story, in which he was banging
his head on the cell doors to free himself
of the voices in his head.

his mpd should have been apparent in
his murderous fight, in which he
smeared the blood all over his body and
seemingly appeared as a new person.

all in all, between aracely and jahseh,
they were both two tormented, mentally
ill teenagers who found a way, and a love,
within each others craziness and pain,
and yes, they did live happily ever after.

initially i wrote this book just for fun,
but the more i wrote, the deeper i dove
into it and somewhat put myself into
aracely's mind and character, very much
so, maybe as a way of release, and this
book really just became my safe haven,
and an alley of peace for me, so thank
you to everyone who kept it going.

i hope you enjoyed, thank you for the
motivation, support and love.
