"Haru doesn't have to earthbend. I'll do it for him." you stepped up. "No, I can help." If Haru was surprised that you could earthbend, he didn't mention it. "On three. One, two, three!" you both managed to send the rocks flying back, untrapping the old man.
While he was thanking the three of you, you crouched down to his still laying form. "Listen, old man," you glared at him. "If you know what's best for you, you won't turn us in. Not only can I bend earth, I can bend fire. And humans don't mix very well with fire, now do they? I'm warning you." you helped him up, letting him be on his way.
"You didn't have to threaten him, Y/N. We just saved his life. There's no way he would turn us in." you started to cackle. "Oh, you oblivious fool. It's adorable, but you'll get yourself killed with that mentality. Take it from me. That threat is the only thing keeping us from the Fire Nation's nasty clutches."
A knock at the door of your shed. "Hello?" you slurred, opening the door to see Fire Nation soldiers. "Nope." you slammed the door shut, but they threw it open, grabbing you. "Assholes. You didn't have to- you old fucking geezer." you glared at the old man who was pointing at you.
"Too bad these are your last moments." you raised your hand to strike, but the soldiers held you back in time. "I promise you, you deflated ball," you kicked him hard. "I'm going to come after you so hard when I get back."
"Y/N!" you turned to see Haru, and your heart broke. "You motherfuckers! Wait." should I use Zhao as an escape method? I don't know where they're taking me, but If word gets out to Zhao that I'm being held by the Fire Nation, he'll surely come to find me. But the only question is, you gulped. Is there a way I can get everyone else out, too?
"Keep moving!" a soldier barked, and you moved over to whisper in Haru's ear. "My husband," you murmured. "he'll get us out of this. I have a plan. Trust me. Can you do that, Haru?"
"Yes. Thank you so much, Y/N."
"Hey, you lame excuses for soldiers! Listen up!" you grabbed everyone's attention, the old man having left already. "I have connections in the Fire Nation. When I'm out of whatever you're going to do to me, I'll make sure you're all burned alive for your crimes. Not only is my life jeopardized, but my children are, too. You-"
A soldier punched you, but you were able to snort hot steam onto his hand, burning it. "Dumbass. How can I have Fire Nation connections without being Fire Nation? Actually, scratch what I said earlier. It won't be my connections that'll burn you alive," your grin was bone chilling. "It'll be me. Make no mistake, you've fucked up. I hope your descendants learn about your failures."
"She's just joking! She can't bend fire." ah, so none of them had seen your fight with the other soldiers. "Alright. Think what you want. But when I come back to this village, I'll make sure to rid of you first."
"I'm your warden. Any questions?" the frail guy said, pacing back and forth. You spat on the floor, making sure to get it on his shoes. "You've got a face only a mother could love." Haru elbowed you. "Y/N, don't." he warned, but you weren't anywhere near finished.
"What did you just say?" ugly guy asked, and two soldiers came dangerously close to you. "You heard me. Or are you so old you're going deaf, too?" you taunted.
"Take her away."
Right before the soldiers could restrain you, you sent a lasso of water towards them, slapping their faces. "She can waterbend?!?" you laughed. "Yeah. But don't worry, I don't really wanna leave. Let me stay above deck, and I won't kill you." ugly guy gulped, nodding his nasty head. "Alright."
"Good. Now, be a good warden and give us the tour, yeah?"
"Father?" Haru gasped, seeing an older man. "Haru! Haru, what are you doing here?" Haru's father looked angry. "Sorry, sir. That's on me." you bowed. "Haru and I were earthbending together, and someone reported us. Of course, it was me who forced him into training with me. I'll get you out of here, I promise."
