"Aang, please. We can talk in the morning. I know you're stressed, but the best thing you can do right now is sleep, okay?" you reassured him. "Okay..." he laid down on the grass, and you watched as he fell asleep quickly.

"Aah!" you sat up, awoken by Aang's scream. "Aang, go back to bed. You need rest." if only you knew what would come to happen in the next few days.

"Aang, please. Do you want me to make you some tea?" Sokka glared at you suspiciously. "How do you make tea? There's nothing here you can use!" idiot. "Should I remind you that my uncle, who's more like my father than anything, ran a tea shop? I boil water, I use leaves to make tea. You're just a dumbass." you turned back to Aang. "Aang, tea. You've been awake for too long." he wilted, punching the tree too hard.

"Sure..." even his voice sounded like it was vibrating as you got to work. You grabbed a kettle from- "Where did you get that?!?"- Appa's saddle, and bent water from a creek nearby. You started a fire, setting up the kettle filled with water to boil. "Katara, distract him. He'll end up killing himself, and I need to find leaves."

You ended up finding Jasmine leaves. "Guys, I-" shit. Aang was asleep, but it was clear that he was having a nightmare. I'll just wait until he wakes up. Everyone else was asleep, too. Even Momo and Appa.

You waited until Aang woke up, making sure to heat the kettle every now and then to make sure it stays hot. "Oh, Aang. You're up. Come, I have tea." you beckoned him over, grabbing a cup from Appa's saddle. "Where did I even get this?" you murmured, pouring the airbender some tea.

"Okay, back to bed you go. But," you held his shoulders. "If you need anyone to talk to, I'm always here. I understand how bad nightmares are. Now, bed. Now." you ordered, pushing him down to the floor. "Goodnight."

"There's no point in trying to sleep. I'll just stay up until the invasion!" you slapped your forehead. "Aang, you will not. Now, you need to destress. Katara, could you help him first?" you suggested. "Yeah. Come on, Aang."

How the hell can someone be so bad at talking? Sokka's a mess. "Okay, I think we're done here. Aang, let's try Toph." you helped the poor boy up, leading him to a nice grassy spot.

"Toph, stop. You're hurting him." you intervened. "Sorry. I forgot you have baby skin." you snorted. "Now, let's try me, okay? Toph, you're good to go. You tried, at least."

"Hey," you patted his head. "I won't hurt you. I understand why you're stressed, talk to me." he nodded, taking a deep breath. He shivered, and you lit a fire, trying to warm him up. "Okay. You're stressed, I get that. How about I tell you about my father? Or, I can just try and cheer you up."

"Could you tell me about the Fire Lord? I need to know as much as I can."

"Of course. Ozai's a brilliant man. Always has been. You can't physically beat him with strength, although you can throw him off his guard. He had a wife, Ursa. I think he loved her, as far as arranged marriages go. Bring her up, and you'll see a falter."

"But how does that help?"

"No will is made of steel. If you can manage to momentarily stun him, you have the upper hand. Another thing. He murdered his father, my grandfather, for the throne. He also stole it from my uncle." your words only made Aang more stressed.

"Okay, how about this. Can I tell you about my childhood? Maybe some stories will help you." he nodded, and you started to talk about your world.

"My homeland is amazing. We have something called phones, and planes! A phone is a little box that can be used to message someone in the blink of an eye. You can also talk to them voice-to-voice using the little box!"

"Could you tell me about your mom?" you steeled yourself, taking in a deep breath. "My mother was a lovely woman. Kyoka L/N, once Kyoka Takahashi. She was Japanese, ah, well. I don't know what you would call that here. Japan is a country, just not my homeland. It wasn't hers, either. She was born in America. She loved to rock climb, I remember. It was some type of-" Oh, just tell him that I'm him already. Your mother spoke, making you jump. Mom, what the fuck? I'm not telling Aang that he's my mom. That's weird. "Are you okay?" you jum

ped again.

"I- uhh, yeah. Sorry, I just had a sudden thought. My mom just loved the earth, I think. It was some spiritual connection. That's all I remember, sorry."

"It's okay."

"Hey, you go continue to train. Tire yourself out, you know?"

"Aang, you're hallucinating. Are you guys really just gonna stand there? Who knows what he's seeing!" Toph giggled. "But it's funny! Besides, it won't hurt him." you turned to the airbender, who looked like he was about to shit himself. "He literally looks stressed out as fuck. Fine, you guys handle him. I need a nap."

You pet the sheep, taking clumps of its fur out. You left the sheep bare, but at least Aang would have a nice bed. You clapped your hands, happy with the result. "Okay, guys. Let's show it to him!"

"You're not hallucinating. Please, try to sleep. For Katara?" you pleaded. "I'm not ready yet, though." you snorted. "Neither was Zuko. At least you weren't challenged to an Agni Kai. Now those are bad."
