"I hate this." you groaned. "Why? What's the problem?" Suki asked.

"I just- I guess I'm tired. This is a stressful time, and the fact that we're lazing around and not doing anything only increases our chances of failure. Plus, I've been working some shit out with my- it doesn't matter. I'm gonna go train."

"Wait, where are you going?" Katara called from the water. "To go train!"

"Okay. Ran and Shaw, come to my aid." you ordered. "Roon! Roon!" Zuko and Azula cried, trying to say the name of one of the dragon masters. "That's adorable. But please, shhh. I don't want to have to put you to bed, okay?"

You did a flip, trying to stretch out your limbs. "Ran, Shaw. Try and fight me. I need to work on my speed. But first, let me move Zuko and Azula." you picked up your children, moving them far enough that the fire wouldn't affect them but close enough that you could see them.

You grunted, crawling backwards on your hands as you tried to fend off Shaw with your legs. "Try to pin me to the ground using only your legs." you screamed, falling down. "You can talk?!? I thought you only spoke in my mind!"

"No. Y/N, we're your guardians. We have to talk to you somehow." Ran piped up. "Okay. Okay. I guess I just-" you were cut off by the yells of your brother and Aang. You saw blasts of fire, and you started to panic. "Shaw, Ran, come with me."

You scooped up your children, easily finding your brother and your friends. "What the hell happened here?" you demanded. "Zuko just started attacking Aang! What's wrong with you, Zuko?"

"Sozin's comet is in three days, and you're just throwing a party!" you sighed. "I'm gonna go. I still have to train. You guys figure it out yourself." you walked back, Ran and Shaw following after you.

"It feels so weird. Like, now I'm the next Sun Warrior chief? And my mom can't help me anymore? This is too much. First, I learn that I'm actually Earth Kingdom, and that my mom is Avatar Kyoshi, which is crazy! Next, I learn that I literally fucking burned us both alive, and that I was reincarnated here. Now, I'm immortal? This is too much. What should I do?" you confided as you managed to slam Ran's head to the ground.

"Which means I'll outlive everybody! I'll watch my kids die. I'll never get to see my dad again. There's no chance. I thought that if I died again I would be sent back home, but now that I can't die, I won't see my homeland again." you ranted.

"Your father will die, Y/N, and you'll be able to see him in the spirit world." you frowned. "I know, but I don't want to wait! I thought I would die crossing the Serpent's Pass, but what do you know? I miraculously survived! My mother, fucking Avatar Kyoshi, takes pity on me! I didn't even know she was my mom at the time! And now that I have children, it's so much more complicated!"

"Your friends are approaching, Y/N. It would be best if you lowered your voice or stopped speaking about the topic fully. You want to keep the details secret, no?" you scowled.
"Well, yeah. Let's just train for a few more moments."

"That was fun. Let's go again, Shaw." you maneuvered your legs around the blue dragon's head, slinging yourself on top of him in a riding position. "Oh, hey Y/N- ahh!" Aang shouted, jumping back behind Zuko.

"Oh. Hey, Aang. Prince Zuko. Meet Ran and Shaw, my guardians. You saw them before at the Western Air Temple, but I didn't introduce you to them."

"How did you get the last two dragons under control?" your brother demanded while Aang tried to pet Ran, but was met with a growl. "I told you. I was chosen for the Dragon's Crown. Or, maybe I didn't. I told you guys that I'm the next Sun Warrior chief, right? It's complicated, and it doesn't matter now. You guys go train, I guess I'll watch."
