Bree Morrison found herself walking through the Gallagher Academy on a hot day to a place she didn't expect to be. It had been weeks since the attack on Anna. The whole school was shaken up. Every Gallagher Girl had a watchful eye on Anna. They all were protective. Chase had become even more protective. Bree didn't think that he ever slept. She knew he was always watching over her and Anna. Bree tried to calm her thoughts as she knocked on the door to a suite.
"Bree?" A woman asked as the door opened. Bree studied Cameron Goode. She was a very beautiful woman. She had flawless skin that she swore was once raging with acne. Her hair was an ombré brown and she had it pulled into a high pony. She had a button nose and bright blue eyes. Bree had always been amazed by her eyes. You could see so many different feelings in them.
"Hi, Cammie," Bree said as Cam ushered her into the room. "You're leaving?" She looked at the open suitcases sitting on the bed.
"It's the end of the semester, you're leaving too," Cammie chuckled. Somehow it had become summer and Bree had missed it.
"Are you coming back?" She asked. Cammie shook her head no. "What about Anna?"
"Zach and I have already come in contact with our friends from Langley to find her a body guard. We want to stay, believe me. This is our home. We've just been gone for so long. We have other kids to attend to. It's just not fair to them," Cam replied.
"Being the kid of a spy is hard," Bree said. Sometimes she felt like her parents didn't even know she existed. Cammie nodded in agreement.
"Zach and I are taking off work for the summer, so we can spend time with our family. We even asked the youngest if they would be okay with us coming here. Most spies say it's a bad idea to let your kids in on decision making, but it's one of the conditions Zach and I talked about when we were deciding if we wanted kids. We almost never had children," Cammie told Bree. Bree raised her eyebrows. It was as if Cammie was letting her in on a huge secret. Cammie saw her shock. "It's hard. To be a spy and a parent, I mean. There's no guarantees of ever coming home. You have to decide if you're willing to take that risk."
"What made you decide you wanted kids?" Bree asked. Cammie smiled.
"Zach is hot, there was no way I was going to let the world miss out on a mini him," she joked. "After we had Chase we couldn't stop having kids. After I had Anna everything changed. The risks were higher. Zach was going through a very dark time when I got pregnant with Riley. I think having him was what saved our marriage. Zach finally realized that he couldn't leave anymore. He knew his responsibilities. Originally we decided we wouldn't have any more kids after him, but then we thought that our family just wasn't complete. We had Jaycee and we knew that she was the missing piece."
"My parents are never there for me. You and Zach are always there for your kids. I'm pretty sure my mom and dad don't even know how old I am," Bree said sadly. "I don't know if I want kids. I don't want to put them through what my parents are putting me through."
"It's a tough decision," Cammie agreed. "There's a lot that goes into it. In my professional opinion I'd tell you not to do it. You'll be so busy and there's so much at stake. In my personal opinion I would say you absolutely must try. Having kids was the best thing that ever happened to me. It's worth every risk." Cammie smiled and Bree could tell that her mind was somewhere else.
"He's not all bad, you know," Cammie said as she met Bree's eyes. "He's been through a lot. He's seen things that no one his age should ever see. He has his walls up, but only to protect you. He's scared to lose you. I can tell that he really likes you."
"I just wish he would be honest with me," Bree admitted. She wanted nothing more than to be with Chase.
"He might not be honest with you, but I will be," Cam said with a grin. "What do you want to know?"
"Does he work with the people that want to kidnap Anna?" Bree blurted. She put her hand to her mouth. Cammie's brow furrowed.
"Absolutely not," she stated. "He's never wanted anything more than for Anna to be safe. He would NEVER be with those people." Bree nodded. She was glad to be certain. "You can still catch him before he leaves."
  "What?"
"Chase. Blackthorne has finals next week. The boys are leaving soon. After finals he's coming home with us."
"Oh," Bree said as the realization dawned on her. "I thought he would stay."
"I'm sure he wants to. The exchange is only for a semester, though," Cammie replied. "Hey, I've got to go. Zach is waiting for me. About kids, well, you really are too young to think about it too much right now. About your future career, stick with this. You really are one of the best I've ever seen. Please keep my daughter safe next year. And as for Chase, he cares about you. He's leaving in 5 minutes. If you run to the grand hall you can still catch him." Bree spun on her heels and ran for the door.
"Cammie?" She said as she turned back around for one last look. "Thank you. I've loved getting to meet you. And if I never see you again..." Cammie grinned.
"Oh, something tells me that I'll be seeing you very soon," Cammie said. And with that Bree was out the door barreling to the grand hall.
She made it there in the nick of time. She was almost out of breath. She watched as the boys loaded their bags. She saw Chase hugging Annalise tightly.
"I love you, Anna banana. Be safe," Bree heard Chase murmur into Anna's ear. Anna nodded and pulled away with tears in her eyes. Anna turned and walked back to her room. Chase looked up and saw Bree. He grinned. "Well hey, Gallagher Girl."
"Hi," Bree replied. "Leaving so soon?" Chase had a playful glint in his eyes.
"Yeah, I couldn't stand being around you spoiled girls any  second longer," he said. Bree laughed and punched him in the shoulder. Jonas called out to the boys and they turned to leave.
"You love me?" Bree blurted. Chase froze and slowly turned around. He closed the gap between them and fingered the tips of her long hair.
"I'd tell you," he said with a nod. Then he grinned at her. "But then I'd have to kill you." He kissed her on the lips. Fast and softly, letting it linger. Bree smiled as Chase turned around and walked out of her school.
"Don't be a stranger!" She yelled after him.
Chase turned around one final time to give her the grin that Bree had been falling for all semester. "Oh come on, Gallagher Girl. We both know that in this business being a stranger just never happens. I'll be back and when I see you, you might be stronger. You might be ready for anything that comes your way. Oh, and maybe then I'll be able to tell you that I love you."

(Author's note: ahhhh! Finally a POV from Bree! I absolutely love her and Chase. I ship them all the way. So that technically would be the ending to the next book. The start of Anna's freshman year is going to be the next book. It will still be in this story, since I am combining them all. In my next book we will explore the truth of Regina O'Dare, more reason as to why Catherine is after Anna, some of what happened in the past with the Goode family, if Chase will continue to excel at Blackthorne, and we will discover Bree's past. I can't wait for what's to come. Thank you for joining me on this wild ride!)
