("Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets: therefore do not associate with a simple babbler." -Proverbs 20:19)

Annalise Goode sat in her suite with her 2 roommates. They were all wearing black outfits and black beanies. Only Diana could make their makeshift spy outfits look hot. She opened a box that the girls had kept hidden for a year.
"Comms," she said. The girls each grabbed one. These were the same comms units that Bree had smuggled for them a year before. They were for an entirely different purpose now.
"Let's go through the vents. They're really big. Grandpa should be with my grandma. Sublevel 2 should be empty," Anna confirmed.
"This is so dangerous. Why does Chase even need the alumni list? If that falls into the wrong hands..." Caroline began.
"It won't," Anna said confidently. Chase was an excellent operative. He was smart. As for his reasons for wanting it, Anna didn't question. Chase was a good guy. He wouldn't do anything to endanger them. Besides, a lot of his family members were on that list.
"Alrighty, let's roll Omega Team," Diana said.  The girls snuck through their school and split up. Diana hoisted Anna into the vents. Diana jumped and Anna grabbed her hand and quickly pulled her up. Caroline wasn't able to jump high. Diana sighed. She grabbed Anna's foot and lowered her down. Anna grabbed Caroline's hand and pulled her up.
"Thanks CJ," Caroline said using their code names. Anna's stood for Chameleon Junior.
"No problem, Sunny," she replied. The girls crawled through the vents. Diana got lost, so they had to back track. That's when they decided that Anna should lead the way. Anna found the small opening and crawled across it. "You go first." Caroline nodded. She kicked he vent and the barrier crashed to the ground. Anna cringed.
  "Damn it, Sunny," Diana muttered.
"Sorry!" Caroline hissed. Diana grabbed the sides of the vent and jumped down. Anna followed. "CJ are you sure that we won't set off any alarms?"
"Positive," Anna replied. "I went through every layout for the security measures. Not a single one is in the vents. There really should be. This is the obvious way that an intruder would go."
The girls walked through the dark halls that contained their school's secrets.
"Woah!" Caroline exclaimed. "Did you know Amelia Earhart was undercover for the rest of her life after she went missing?" Anna didn't lose focus. She was going to get her hands on that list.  She heard a loud rumble and a faint hum.
"What was that?" Diana hissed. The girls shared terrified glances.
"The elevator," Anna hissed back. "Someone's coming down!" The girls darted into the shadows.
"Edward you can not have that list!" A woman cried. Anna recognized the voice as her head mistress and grandmother Rachel.
"Oh yes I can, Rachel. I am going to find the descendant," he snapped. The girls all made eye contact.
"Papa Ed?" Anna mouthed. The girls were scared. They were going to get caught.
"I already let you look at the list. In case you haven't forgotten, I'm the reason that you even found Tamari. Joe checked for the other names. Malia Warren was on the list. Tamari told the truth. They really were Catherine's roommates," Rachel said. Anna and her friends shared puzzled glances.
"I don't care about that," Ed snapped. "I want to find the descendant! I looked at the wrong name last time. I think I know what to look for. I can find it!"
"No!" Rachel snapped. "You will not get that list. It violates countless rules!"
"I just need to look at it," Ed huffed.
"You'll do no such thing, Edward," another voice said. Anna froze. It was her grandpa Solomon. "You heard her."
"Really Joe? Don't you people understand that this is how we're going to save our granddaughter? You act like the rules are more important than Anna's safety," Ed barked. Anna's safety? What did he mean? Anna tried not to breathe heavily.
"She's safe here. She won't be if I get fired for showing you the list," Rachel said. Ed huffed loudly. He turned around and started back for the elevator. Rachel and Joe were on his heels.
"You'd think you would do a favor for your favorite brother in law," he grumbled. The girls waited for the hum of the elevator to stop before they left their hiding spot.
"Papa Ed wants that list too?" Anna said amazed.
"Do you think he and Chase are looking for the same thing?" Caroline asked. Anna shrugged.
"It doesn't matter," Diana said. "Let's just get the list and get out." Anna nodded.
Anna made her way to the list. Caroline slapped her beanie and a flashlight flickered on. Caroline pointed it at the list. Anna raised her utility belt and hit the button that took pictures. She moved around and took pictures of the extremely long list.
"Got it?" Diana asked. Anna nodded.
"Let's go," she said. The girls hoisted each other back up into the vents and started the long climb. They made it out and began running. They turned a corner and ran smack into a girl.
"Oof," they all said. Anna looked up and locked eyes with Bree. Bree was blushing madly.
"Sorry," she said. She eyed the girls in their all black. They no doubt had dirt all over them. "Um, what did you do?"
"We were just trying on Diana's new fabric material for spy uniforms. They're not dirt resistant," Anna lied smoothly. Bree looked like she didn't believe them at all.
"You guys can trust me, you know. You don't have to constantly leave me out of the loop," Bree said sadly. Anna nodded.
"Of course!" She said all too fake. "We have to go. Bye!" The girls ran back to their room before Bree could say another word.
Back in their suite they printed off the pictures of the alumni list.
"Look!" Caroline pointed at a name on the list. "Morgan Townsend!" Anna rolled her eyes.
"This list has every Gallagher Girl ever on it. Aunt Morgan was a Gallagher Girl," she explained.
"Oh look!" Diana said happily. She pointed at 3 names etched higher up on the list. Rebecca Baxter, Macey McHenry, Cameron Morgan, Elizabeth Sutton. "It's our moms and the other roommates!" Anna smiled. It was weird to think that her mother had once been in the same school as Anna.
"Rachel Cameron," Caroline whispered as she pointed to a name on the list. "Is that?"
"Ya, that's my grandma. Look, Abigail Cameron," Anna said and pointed at a different name. "That's my Mimi." The girls nodded. They studied all of the names.
"Look," Caroline hissed. She pointed at a name in terror. "Catherine Goode." Anna's heart sank. Her grandmother had been a Gallagher Girl.
"Tamari Carlisle and Malia Warren are near her name. Isn't that the names that they were talking about?" Diana asked. Anna nodded.
"Why were they talking about Catherine and girls from her class?" Anna wondered aloud. The girls all shrugged. Anna shook her head. "Welp, we better take these to Chase." The girls all have each other devilish looking grins. Anna smirked as she said "or maybe we'll just have to hold on to it for a little while longer."
