"Do you know how does it feel to bargain for your life?"

Pinapanood ko ang pagtaas ng araw. Nakatalikod ako sa lalaking kausap ko. I can't and don't want to see his face. Kilala ko siya. He will hide behind the mask of sadness and guilt.

"No." he simply answer.

"I know how." I close my eyes.

I did that for the past three months bilang si Rhenae Alonzo. Wished for the pain to stop... the pain of life I was living in.

The rain pours on me everytime. Most of the time I cried myself to sleep. Minsan pang sumabay ang pagulan habang umiiyak ako bago matulog.
I feel sorry for myself. I become a fool for answering Auntie and Charm's whims. A tool for their personal objectives.

Napabayaan ko ang sarili ko.

Namuo ang galit sa katawan ko. I remember that horrible experience. I was molested. Wala akong kalaban-laban.

Humarap ako sa kanya, "Do you have lucid dreams?" I ask him.

"Minsan..." he looks like a lost boy, "The first weeks that you were gone."

Nag-iwas ako ng tingin. I did not know that. Nagiguilty ako sa mga gusto kong sabihin sa kanya. But I want the truth.

"Is that why you keep saying sorry to me?"

Nanlaki ang mga mata niya. Gulat sa sinabi ko. His words are embedded behind my head. His never ending apology that made me want to see him again.

"How did you-" I cut in.

Sinabi ko ang totoo, "I have eyes in here."

"The fortune teller told me someone is watching us." he said.

"Alam ko din ang ginagawa mo kay Kiera."

He grimaces. Nabato siya sa kinatatayuan. I can hear them in my dreams talk about tears and blood.

My dreams as Rhenae taunts me to find out who is the guy that keeps talking to me. I even fangirled about him pero hindi ko iyon sasabihin. He might take it as an opportunity.

Not until he tells me what he offered to Hades.

"Hindi ko pinagsisihan iyon." he proudly said.

"Did you change anything doing that? No-" he cuts in.

"How did you know about that?" tanong niya.

Tinapatan ko ang titig niya, "I told you nanaginip ako."

I did something na hindi nila alam. Ako lang ang nakakaalam ng bagay na iyon. Even Ree and Desmond whom I trust the most did not know it.

"Or are you watching us?" he walks towards me.

I smirk at him, "Why would I watch you?"

"You have eyes in here. Or..." tinutok niya ang espada sa akin, "Nagpapanggap ka lang na ikaw si Lilith."

"Tingin mo?" hamon ko.

"Rhenae Alonzo?" he gives me a stern look, "Baka espiya ka ng kalaban kaya ka nandito."

Sinakyan ko ang sinasabi niya, "Please don't kill me."

"Sino ang nag-utos sayo?!" pagalit niyang tanong.

Thank goodness wala na ang ibang demigods dito. Baka akalain nila ay totoo ito. Tsk.

Simple minded asshole.
