Niall: “(Y/N) quit being stubborn and just go with me to Greg’s wedding,” your friend begged you. Scoffing, you shook your head for the millionth time. “I wasn’t invited. Why don’t you take Tom?” you suggested, referring to her long time boyfriend. “He’s out of town remember? Just go, please! Maybe you’ll even see Niall!” she coaxed, using her cousin as bait. You sighed and reluctantly agreed, leading to hours of dress shopping with her and getting ready. Once it was finally the day of the wedding you found yourself sitting at your assigned table alone, no clue when your friend would be back from giving her congratulations to Greg. “Hi.” Your head snapped up at the sound of a voice that sounded all too familiar. Niall stood next to the open seat next to you, giving you a smile, “Mind if I sit down?” Clearing your throat you pushed back thoughts of how good he looked in his suit to the back of your mind, “Go ahead.” He pulled the chair out and took a seat, turning to face you, “So are you a friend of Greg’s?” He leaned slightly closer to you so he could be heard over the music and you had a hard time ignoring the close proximity. “Um, I’m a friend of Greg’s friend,” you tried to explain. Thankfully Niall nodded, understanding, “Well you’re very pretty.” Your face flamed as he complimented you and you couldn’t help but take a sudden interest in his shiny black dress shoes. “T-Thanks,” you mumbled. He chuckled at your reaction, “And you’re cute. You’re just the whole package aren’t you?” Laughing, you fought off your blush enough to look at him, his eyes already on you. “You’re not so bad looking yourself,” you told him. He shrugged and straightened his tie, “I try. Now this is the part where I ask you to dance.” You smirked, becoming less shy, “Well if that’s you asking then I’d love to.”

Zayn: “Congrats Louis!” you exclaimed, giving him a huge hug. He chuckled and returned it, “Thanks (Y/N). I’m glad you could come.” You smiled at him and turned to his new wife, greeting her with a hug as well. “I actually only came for the bride, sorry Lou,” you shrugged and laughed as he scoffed at you. “Still annoying as usual,” Louis commented. You rolled your eyes, “Don’t be a brat.” He narrowed his eyes at you, “I’m-“ “Lou, the boys are wondering when the food will be out.” You turned at the sound of Zayn’s voice, his eyes fixed on you even though he was talking to Louis. “Tell them food will be out soon,” Louis’ wife said as she took his hand in hers, “Now if you’ll excuse us we have to greet more of our guests.” She started to lead a groaning Louis away as she gave you a knowing wink, motioning her head to Zayn. Rolling your eyes you turned back to the dark-haired boy. “Hello Zayn. Has your hair gotten bigger since the last time I saw you?” you tease with a grin on your face. He scoffed at you and laughed dryly, “Ha ha (Y/N). Very funny.” You laughed and gave him a once over, “I’m kidding Malik. You look very handsome.” He raised his eyebrows at you before smirking, “I can’t tell if that was a serious compliment.” You shrugged innocently, “Guess you’ll never know.” He had a playful glint in his eyes as he stepped closer to you, “Always a tease.” His voice lowered considerably and sounded much huskier. “Calm your hormones Zayn,” you replied, noticing his play on words. He laughed loudly and shook his head, smiling at you. “You’re right. I’ll save them for after the wedding,” he said with a wink.

Harry: I shouldn’t have come here, you repeatedly told yourself as you searched for an empty table to sulk at. Your friend had invited you to come with her to James Corden’s wedding since she was a family friend. You were ecstatic until you two arrived and she immediately scurried off to go find some celebrity she’s had a crush on. She left you to fend for yourself which you found extremely hard to do so seeing as you know no one at this wedding; not even the groom himself. You breathed a sigh of relief as you found a seat, deciding to wait for your friend to find you. “Rough night?” You jumped at the sound of a husky voice behind you. Turning around your eyes widened as you came face to face with Harry Styles, his eyes on yours as he brought a drink to his lips. Realizing that he was waiting for an answer you snapped out of your shock and finally replied, “You could say so. My friend decided to blow me off to chase some guy.” He nodded and examined the liquid in his cup before saying, “Well looks like you’ll have to deal with me.” You laughed and shook your head, “I think it’s the other way around.” He shrugged and continued to carry on the conversation, “What’s your name love?” “(Y/N),” you said, giving him a small smile, still somewhat shy. “I’m Harry,” he smiled, his dimple appearing on his cheek. “You look beautiful by the way,” he complimented, his eyes giving you a once over, “that color suits you.” You laughed nervously, looking away for a second, “Er, thanks. I like your… tie?” He laughed loudly and continued to smile at you, “You’re adorable love.” You laughed along with him and was suddenly very thankful that your friend had ditched you.

Louis: You fumbled with your phone and kept your eyes glued to it, refusing to seem lonely and unsocial in a room full of happy wedding guests. Your fingers scrolled through Twitter even though you’ve already hit the tweets that everyone posted yesterday. “Wow you must be really bored.” Turning at the sound of an amused voice behind you, your eyes met Louis, a smirk evident on his face. “Don’t be such a snoop,” you rolled your eyes at him and continued to scroll down. He ignored your comment and pulled up a chair right next to you. “What’s so interesting on that phone of yours?” he asked when you didn’t look up. You sighed and finally put your iphone down, locking the screen. “Happy?” you snapped. Louis chuckled and shook his head at you, “Grumpy tonight?” Sighing, you diverted your eyes from him and played with the tablecloth, “Sorry. I just know no one at this wedding.” After smoothing down your dress you finally looked up at him, his eyes smoldering. “I didn’t know. If I did I wouldn’t have bugged you as much,” he chuckled lightly and you smiled at him. “I’m glad you did. I probably would have been scrolling until I hit week old tweets.” You both laughed at the thought, catching the attention of some nearby girls. They gave you two curious looks before returning to their own conversations. “Geez,” Louis breathed, “it’s like they were waiting for us to do that.” You laughed again and the girls repeated their previous actions, turning their heads curiously. There was no doubt in your mind that they were trying to get Louis’ attention with their questioning stares. He seemed to have the same thoughts because he quickly stood up, taking your hand in his and pulling you away. “Where are we going?” you asked as he maneuvered around guests. “Ditching this wedding,” he shrugged continuing to lead you by the hand out of the venue.

Liam: “This is the perfect way to cheer you up,” your best friend stated as she looped her arm with yours, walking into building. “Going to your cousin’s wedding?” you asked, giving her a questioning look. “Wedding’s are happy. Hopefully this will distract you,” she explained as she looked around the room. You groaned at the mention of everything that had gone wrong in the past couple of days. “I want you to meet someone,” she said suddenly, tugging you by the arm towards the other side of the room. “What? No it’s fine. I don’t need to be cheered up anymore,” you protested. But your complaints were cut short as you saw who you were being led to. You live in London so of course you’ve heard of One Direction, but you never knew that your best friend knows the band’s very own Liam Payne. “(Y/N) this is Liam. Liam this is (Y/N),” she said as you two finally reached him, “my job is done. Have fun you two!” And just as quick as she came she was gone. Your eyes widened at her little stunt and you nervously turned to Liam who was smiling at you. “That was quite random of her,” he said. You laughed nervously and agreed, feeling slightly uncomfortable, “She pulls this kind of stuff all the time.” Liam nodded, “Well I’ll have to thank her for introducing me to you.” He winked, his tone playful. A blush made its way to your cheeks and you turned your head in an effort to cover it. “Are you blushing love?” he teased. You scoffed and tried to play it off, “O-Of course not.” Liam merely laughed and took your hand, tugging you closer. “Don’t be shy,” he said just loud enough for you to hear him. You finally looked at him and gave him a small smile, “I’ll try.”
