STEFAN: You were Stefan's best friend for ages, helped him through tough times and always stood by his side. It felt like there was something more in the bond you two had, but you never got to find out about how he felt towards you because battles, enemies and dangers separated you. For at least a century. 

Then you heard about him being in Mystic Falls, where you quickly drove since you didn't live very far away from it. Due to the small amount of people in the quaint town, it didn't take you much time to find out where he lived. Nervously, you knocked on his door, and when he opened it he recognized you immediately, invited you inside and pulled you into a hug. Later that night, you found that he did indeed have feelings for you, and seeing you brought them back to the surface.

DAMON: You had met Damon a few months ago, in Mystic Falls and you two developed a relationship that mostly consisted of sex, sex, and more sex. It turned out to be dangerous to you both, so Damon compelled you to leave town and live elsewhere, safe, and possibly with another man.

But family stuff brought you back to Mystic Falls, where you met Damon again at Mystic Grill. Seeing him made you remember the relationship you two once had, and he seemed to remember you as well. You ended up at his place, where you talked a lot, and obviously the night ended in bed. You fell in love with him, and he seemed to have feelings for you too and since it was peaceful in the town at the moment, you figured out dating wouldn't hurt. 

JEREMY: You fell in love with Jeremy in high school, since you both went to the same one. You had a great relationship, and soon you already found out about the vampires, werewolves, witches, and whatnots in the town. You weren't scared, you were excited and being with Jeremy and dealing with the supernatural issues with him and his friends brought you all only closer and the bond between you grew stronger. Everything was well, until your family decided to move out of town. You were separated, and you knew that a long-distance relationship wouldn't work so you ended things. 

Two years later, you found out that your aunt had moved into Mystic Falls, and you were eager to go there and see Jeremy again. You planned some things and soon you were already living with your aunt. You met Jeremy again, through his sister, and he fell in love with you all over again. And so began a new, better relationship that didn't have to end. 

ELIJAH: You were Elijah's one true love. He would have done anything and everything for you, and all he really wanted was to not lose you. But it happened. Of course Elijah and his family had enemies and you knew it very well, and you lived with the fact sometimes he would get hurt or maybe even you, but things would always get better. Until things got really serious, and you were taken as a hostage and held to death. At least that was what everyone was told. Really, you were tortured but eventually let out, but you had to move away from New Orleans and never contact Elijah or anyone close to him again. 

Through some contacts, you, well, stalked and followed Elijah's life all the years, and when he started to seem too sad and out of life, you took matters to your own hands and didn't care what would happen to you. You returned to New Orleans, and he found out you really never died. Turned out, he was missing you the whole time, but now that you had returned, everything was getting better again. He made it his mission to never let anyone take you away from him again, and so, you managed to have love that lasted for eternity. 

KLAUS: You and Klaus were good friends, had been for ages, but you knew it would come to an end soon. You stayed in New Orleans with him, but a battle was coming and you didn't want to take part in it, and he didn't want you to stay and get killed either. So you decided to leave, but before you did, you and Klaus ended up admitting your feelings to each other that had been growing more and more each day.

When it was finally safe for you to return, you had already found a new life and new love in another place and you didn't want to go back to Klaus. Sure, you had loved him, but you felt like it was a silly crush. What you had now, was serious and perfectly normal without supernatural issues. But after some years, Klaus came in the town, looking for you, and succeeded. You slowly became friends with him, and soon you already found yourself falling for him once more. Maybe it wasn't completely ordinary, but you loved the dangers in the life you had with him. 

KOL: You and Kol had a special bond. It was once in a lifetime love, the kind that made everyone jealous, and you knew you were lucky to have him as your own. Everything was perfect and even though his vampire life had its own dangers, nothing seemed to be powerful enough to break you apart. Until Klaus arrived, and daggered Kol and locked him in a coffin. You were too scared to fight back, so you moved away to a place where it was safe and mourned for weeks, months. 

It took you a lot of time to get back on your feet and move over the fact Kol was in fact gone, for a while at least. You found new friends, but you wouldn't allow yourself to fall in love again. Whenever things got too serious with a guy, you stopped seeing them and forgot about them all. Then, on one day, a miracle happened — Kol arrived to the town but you didn't know. He met you at a bar that night, and when you saw him you cried tears of joy while he closed you in a hug and held you until you had calmed down and he could take you somewhere more private for catching up.
