STEFAN: "hey, babe, i miss you. i'll be back in a few days. see you then. sleep tight, i love you" - he had left town for a week to do something with damon and you missed him like crazy but every night he sent you a sweet voice mail which eased the longing.
DAMON: "i know you won't hear this, but i love you and i think i should stop doing this so... goodbye. i love you, i promise. forever, just like we promised" - you had died yet he kept sending voice mails to mend the pain. he was broken, but hearing your voice even for two seconds helped him.
JEREMY: "hey, i'm on my way to home and i'm bringing pizza" - you had complained about hunger all day but there was nothing in the fridge and you were too lazy to go get anything. when jeremy had left to the salvatores, you mentioned that you'd love some pizza for dinner, and he wanted nothing more than to be of assistance to you.
ELIJAH: "i'm on my way, alright? please calm down and just... don't do anything to hurt yourself. i'm coming" - you had a tough break-up and elijah was your best friend so you texted him. he got worried, and promised to come there and help you through it.
KLAUS: "hi. i'm the man you bumped into today and i found you rather fascinating i asked for your number from your lovely friend. so, if you don't mind, give me a call back" - you had bumped into a mysterious charming man today but unfortunately you had to leave and give him to your friend, but luckily to you, things turned out this way.
KOL: "i'm coming back to town. i can't wait to see your gorgeous face again darling" - kol had left town a year ago and you missed him dearly but he told you he had to do it for himself. this was amazing news, honestly.
