STEFAN: "Now, put your foot here and...", he instructed and moved you with him, gentle as ever. You were too concentrated on his beautiful face, causing you to stumble, and as you almost fell down, he effortlessly caught you in his arms. Dancing was definitely not your thing, but he eagerly tried to teach you. "I suck at this, let's just stop and do something fun!", you breathed out when he lifted you back up and let go of you. He chuckled, and shook his head, refusing to give up. You groaned, but let Stefan grab you and teach you again, no matter how many awkward moments it would take.

DAMON: You were at a party, and everyone was dancing so you dragged Damon to the dance floor as well. At first it was just fun and carefree, but when a slow song came on, you felt quite flustered, only for Damon to take the lead and pull you into his chest.  Your fingers intertwined while your other hand rested on his shoulder, and his snaked around your waist, allowing you to be almost too close while he led the way, traveling across the floor with you in his strong arms. 

JEREMY: "Do you wanna dance or something?", he asked awkwardly, earning a laugh from you. You had just met Jeremy, and overall he seemed like a good, sweet guy so you agreed to have one dance with him — who wanted to sit alone at a school dance, anyway? You let him take your hand and walk you to the other dancing people, and started to move along the soft, slow music. At the end of the song he thanked you with a hint of a blush on his cheeks, already about to let go, but too enthralled now, you insisted on dancing one more song.

ELIJAH: "Teach me how to dance", you blurted out suddenly on a boring Thursday night, making Elijah look over to you with a surprised look. He had tried to get you to dance many times before, but it appeared it took utter and extreme boredom to make you agree. He put his book down and offered you his hand, and with a smile you allowed him to take you to the open space in the living room before following his lead and instructions. He called you a natural, although it wasn't flawless by any means, but Elijah simply insisted that now he'd get to practice with you more.

KLAUS: You had arrived at a party with your friend, but you had already lost her. Now, you had to stand alone at the entrance, awkwardly, not knowing anyone — you didn't even know who was throwing this party and you weren't familiar with the place so you couldn't really go anywhere to hide yourself. "You look lost. Dance with me?", a smooth voice snapped you out of your trance, and although you were more amused than enchanted by his attempts, you agreed and gave him your hand. Little did you know, he was going to be the only one you'd ever dance with.

KOL: When you had gotten an invitation to a dance held at the high school, you obviously wanted to go. In Mystic Falls, moments of peace and chances at being carefree were rare, so you wanted to grasp each one. However, Kol was less than willing to go with you, threatened by the need to dance, but once you had whined and begged enough, the vampire ended up giving in. Once the dance finally arrived, you found out that Kol wasn't scared because he didn't know how to do it, but rather because he was far too brilliant at it, and undoubtedly you had zero intentions to forget that.
