Hiro's POV
"Thanks for the food and advice. You've been really helpful to me, to us." niyakap naman ako ni Mayu nang sandali. Of course, I don't have a choice but to help my two friends get along with their relationship.
"It's nothing. Now shoo, lovebird. Gagabihin ka." paalam ko sa kanya.
"Gabi na, Hiro. Sabog ka yata." natatawang sabi niya. Aish, she really does look cute when she laughs, Kei told me.
"Right. Basta umuwi ka na!" ulit ko.
"Alright, alright. Thanks again." tumango ako kay Mayu na kinakawayan ako ngayon habang naglalakad palayo papunta sa train station. It's a good thing the rain decided to stop pouring, I just can't handle the torture anymore.
Bumalik na ako sa unit ko, at pagkabukas ko ng pinto, nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang makita ko si Lee na nakaupo sa may dining table na parang hinihintay ako. Well, nang magulat si Mayu na may iba pa sa team na naninirahan dito maliban sa'min, binawi ko agad para pakalmahin siya. It's true that half of the team lives here, in different units of course.
"Ikaw din, umuwi ka na. Gabi na." sabi ko kay Lee at humiga sa malambot kong kama. It felt like as if my bed is hugging me too.
Tumayo naman si Lee at lumipat sa tabi ng kama ko. I know what you're thinking so chill, straight kaming dalawa ni Lee. "May ramen pa?" tanong niya at tinuro ko 'yung kasirolang may tirang ramen. Tumayo muli siya at isinalin 'yung ramen sa bowl at bumalik na naman sa tabi ko.
"I saw what happened." sinulyapan ko naman siya at binalik 'yung tingin ko sa kisame. Aish, kalalakeng tao nito tsismoso.
"Sad, ain't it?" yeah, Lee knows something that Keiji and most of team doesn't. I don't want to cause a problem between them, specially now that their relationship is really problematic.
"You got what you want, you can go
now." sumimangot naman sa'kin si Lee. "Rude. Just because you're dramatic doesn't mean you can act rude." kumento niya. Mahina ko namang sinuntok 'yung balikat niya. Gusto ko sanang lakasan, kaso baka matapon 'yung kinakain niya, maglilinis pa 'ko.
"You're doing well for someone who's being tortured face-to-face." I know, and I wish I would die already and get on with another life. But that's a pathetic and not to mention, a cheesy excuse to die.
"Do I?" tumango naman siya sa'kin. Napabuntong-hininga na lang ako. Buti na lang madali lang magpanggap kun'di matagal na 'kong nabuking. Though the routine is really killing me.
"Move on na pards, makakahanap ka rin. Who knows, baka mas better pa sa kanya." the moment I met her, I thought she'll be the one. But then I knew she have feelings for Keiji and their feelings are mutual. And I realized, maybe she's just not the one for me.
"I'm well aware that moving on is easier said than done. So um... good luck na lang pards." napairap na lang ako kay Lee na nakuha pa 'kong tawanan kahit napaka-dramatic na nga ng sitwasyon ko.
"Thanks for the food. You just have to wait until you find the one for you. It's just isn't now." kumindat naman sa'kin si Lee. Yeah, I appreciate his advice, at dahil doon, akmang babatuhin ko na siya nang unan bilang 'thank you' ngunit mabilis siya lumabas at sinara 'yung pinto. I guess he doesn't want me to thank him.
When Keiji brought Mayumi, I didn't even think there was something going on between them so I thought it's okay to have feelings for her. I was about to say that to Kei but he told me first that he has an eye for her, so I had no choice but to back out. He's the one who met her first, so I thought maybe I should just give her to him.
