"What was that all about?" Tori begins to tug on my sleeve.
"Oh nothing. He just asked me to go with him to Hogsmeade," I respond casually.
She jumps up, "What?! What did you say?!"
I shrug, "I told him no."
"What?! Why?!"
I stop in front of her and cross my arms confused, "I thought you didn't like him after what he did. Now you want me to go on a date with him?"
She begins to stutter, "Well, m-maybe you just.. need to get to know him better."
I resume walking, my arm linked in hers. "I know his type," I lean over to her, "I don't need to get to know him better."
"If I recall correctly.. he's exactly your type," She pokes my arm, "Maybe that's why you already know him."
"Who are you right now?!"
She raises her eyebrows, "I'm just saying, now that I think about it, you two would make a cute couple."
I shake my head, "Never."
"Never say never," She point her finger accusingly.
"Well then, please kill me if I ever start to like Draco Malfoy."
Almost to the Slytherin tower, I remember about Harry.
I stop walking, "Oh wait! I'll be back, I'm gonna go visit Harry and Chelsie!"
She looks at me concerned, "Chelsie?"
"Puking pastilles."
She gags, "Ugh. Let me know how she is!"
Tori continues her journey to the tower as I to the infirmary.-
"Chelsie?" I approach her bed.
"Joy? How'd you know I was here?"
"Harper told me. I wanted to make sure you were ok," I sit at the end of her bed.
"I'm fine. Madame Pomfrey said I just need to puke it out of my system then I'm good to go," she points to her designated bucket on the floor, "I probably have to stay overnight though."
"Oh alright."
A second goes by before I smack her leg, "How could you not know they were puking pastilles?!"
"I don't know! I just saw free food and I took it."
I laugh at her, hitting her leg again.
"Madame Pomfrey gave me a sleeping potion, so that I can get some rest without waking up every 5 minutes to puke. I might fall asleep sometime soon."
I nod my head, "Alright, I'll let you rest."
"Thanks."
I tuck her in, and close her curtain so that no one disturbs her.
I see a huddle of red near another bed, so I'm assuming that's Harry.
I walk towards them and squeeze my way through to Hermione and Ron."How is he?"
Hermione stands up and answers, "Still out cold. We're just waiting for him to wake up on his own."
I ask, "Anything broken?"
Ron speaks this time, "No, thank goodness Dumbledore caught him in time."
I see that he's carrying a blanket of some sort, lWhat's that?"
"His broom. Completely destroyed."
'Aw, his broom.'
"Yikes. Tell him he can have mine. I'm not using it as much."I turn to see the other Gryffindor boys just staring at me.
I softly nudge Hermione, who looks at me as I motion to her about the staring.
She whispers in my ear, "You're a Slytherin visiting Harry."I silently mouth, 'right', with a nod.
I flash them a quick smile before speaking, "I should probably go, but uhm.. let me know when he wakes up?"Ron and Hermione both nod and go back to focusing on Harry.
"Excuse me boys," They all move to the side so I have a clear path to the door.
As I walk towards the exit, I hear their conversation.
"That's Joy Deveroux?"
"Blimey, she's pretty."
"But a Slytherin?"
"But she's... nice."
I yell out, "I can hear you, you know."
They all cough and shuffle their feet as I hear Hermione cackle in the background.
"Boys are idiots."
