My day with Draco was exactly what I needed, to just spend time with him during all the chaoticness of our lives... it's comforting to know that whoever in with him, I feel like I'm at home.
Unfortunately, all things must come to an end.
Dinner at Hogwarts were starting soon, which meant that I must be going back."Owl me, ok?" Draco lifts up my chin.
I nod."I'll be there quick if you need me... but I know you can take care of yourself." He smiles.
I giggle, "...About time you realize that."
"Hold on." Draco runs to his closet and comes back holding his sweater. He hands it over to me, "For when you miss me."
I try to hide my smile while grabbing the sweater from him. He noticed.
"You're welcome."I roll my eyes, "You're quite annoying."
He softly kissed my cheek before I disapparated to Hogwarts.
I popped into Sevy's office, where he was waiting for me, sitting behind his desk.
His first words to me, "You missed your classes."
I sighed, "I know. I'll make up for any late work."
He motions for me to sit down, "I assume by the time of your arrival, that you, in fact, did not stay at the estate last night."
I chuckles, "Yeah... I honestly planned on sleeping there, but I-I just needed to stay with someone."
Snape nods before talking about something else, "We still have a few minutes before dinner. Would you like to talk about yesterday?"
I smiled, "Uncle Sev, to be honest... you were always more of a father to me than him. It's not a complete loss, I still have you."
He stayed quiet, staring at me. I could tell he's overwhelmed with what I just said... I could see the wheels in his brain begin to turn, trying to process the emotion he should be feeling.
I go on, "You called me your daughter in your letter..."
He shows no facial expression, "I was referring to Rosie, in case that incessant owl delivered the letter to the Manor while you weren't there."
I roll my eyes, "Sure you did."
He cleared his throat and sat straighter in his chair before standing up, "Well, uh—"
I start to giggle, "I'll just go back to my dorm to get ready for dinner, if you don't mind."
He nods and escorts me on the way out of his office. Before I descend the stairs, I turn and give him a quick hug. He jumped at the sudden embrace and stood still.
While stilling hugging him, I say, "You can hug me back, you know."Instead, he pats my head and reminds me to change into Rosie before someone sees me.
I smile and nod before doing so, and walk down the steps.-
I washed up for dinner and changed into my robes before heading down to the Great Hall.
