"Hi darling."

Draco popped into my living room a few days after I sent my letter to him. He quickly told Narcissa that he was leaving once he received my letter and apparated into the estate within seconds.

"Draco!" I run up to him, and brought him in for a kiss.

"Whoa, a bit excited to see me, love?" He smirks while holding me around my waist.

I wrap my arms around his neck and look to him, "I'm always excited to see you."

"Are you alright?" He cups my cheek, "You look gleeful for someone who fell."

I roll my eyes and step away from him, "Great Merlin, why does everyone bring that up?! I fall sometimes, I'm capable of being clumsy. Why is that such a surprise to people?!"

He chuckles, "Alright, now someone seems irritable today."

I become defensive, "Just a lot on my mind."

"Would you like to talk about it?" He offers, and tries to pull me upstairs to my bedroom.

"Talk about it? Or did you have something else in mind?" I raise up one eyebrow.

He smirks, "We have all the time in the world to do that now that you're home... let's just relax for a bit." He nods in the direction of my room.

"I have class in an hour... I promised Sevy that I'd still go to my lessons." I stand my ground and hold onto his arm, keeping him from walking any further.

"You took too long to come over!" I begin to complain. He really did take long, "I sent that letter basically last week!"

"I was... busy doing things." He tries to act nonchalant.

"Aw, were you writing in your diary?" I say in a child-like voice.

He points to me, "I don't have a diary. I have journals." He puffs his chest up to seem manlier, "And I wasn't writing in that. I was writing something else..."

"You know, given our history... we shouldn't be keeping secrets from each other." I trail my fingers across his chest, "What were you writing about?"

"Sorry, love... you'll have to wait to hear it." He grins and places a soft kiss against my forehead, "I'll let you get ready for school. Tell Blaise and the rest I said hello."

"What do you mean I have to wait to hear it?!" I follow him as he walked past me, about to disapparate, "Draco Malfoy!"

He winks at me before he flashed out of the living room, leaving me annoyed and thinking of all the possible meanings to what he left me with wondering.

I apparated into Uncle Sev's office for classes that morning, and saw that he was speaking to someone as he escorted them out of the office.

I overheard him tell whomever it was at the door, "Anything she needs, I'll allow it," before closing the door shut.
He turns and jumped at the sight of me.

"You... need to make sure you appear as Rosie. You cannot show up into my office like that." He warns me.

I look down and don't see my soft grey ombré hairstyle and quickly charmed myself to who I should be.

"All better!" I smile and begin to walk to the exit.
I was so close to leaving when Snape stops me by grabbing my shoulder and turning me around, "You are not allowed to watch the Quidditch game today."

I scoff and push his arm off of me, "...And why not? I wasn't even planning to, but now, I might do so just to spite you."

Snape looks to me with a serious look, "I have other things I need your help with."

I start to smile, "Only if it's relating to your plan." I do air quotes around the word 'plan', just to annoy him a bit... and it worked.

"It... does not." He replies.

I shrug my shoulders, "Sucks for you then. I'll be at the game I'm 'forbidden' from going to," I wave him goodbye as I already began to walk down the staircase to my first class of the day.

Draco got home and went straight to looking for his mother, who was in their study organizing a few wedding things.

Draco swung the door open and was overwhelmed with all the mess of the study has come to, while Narcissa and a few other house elves were wedding planning.

"Mother... what is all of this?" He slowly walks into the room, kicking away any books in his path.

"Draco!" Narcissa cries out, and slaps his leg, making Draco wince, "Walk around it!"

"We said a simple wedding. This—" He points around, "—does not look simple."

Narcissa begins to plead, "Draco, are you worried about the expenses? You'll never have to worry about that."

He huffs his chest, "Of course I'm not worried about that." He lounges on the only chair that wasn't stacked with books and random parchment papers, "No one remembers Joy anyway. There's no point in a big wedding."

Draco's attention were caught on an elf, carrying a bouquet of red roses, held together by a white ribbon. "I said white roses with mixed greenery!"

He takes the bouquet and tosses it across the room, making the elf nervous. Draco quickly realized what he's done and began to think of what Joy would say I'd she were to ever witness that, "I didn't mean to startle you. I—" he gulps down,
"—appreciate your help."

The house elf smiled at Draco, which made Draco uncomfortable and dismissed the elf from his sight.

Narcissa was shocked to see Draco show compassion to their house elf, "Let me guess... Joy told you to be nicer to the house elves."

Draco shrugs, "Perhaps she has mentioned it... sometime... in the past."

Narcissa smiles, "As I was saying, they will remember her eventually. Who would want to miss the wedding of the century?!" Narcissa argues to support her defense. "And Joy should really be a part of planning all of this... it's her wedding too."

Draco sighs, "I'd like to surprise her."

A knock on the door interrupts their conversation. "Come in!"

Dibby walks in to announce, "Mrs. Master, your packages have arrived." Dibby pulls on a cart full of boxes to show her.

Narcissa claps happily, "The dresses are here!" She walks over to look at the boxes.

Draco slowly made his way behind his mother to peak over her shoulder.
Narcissa quickly realized what he was doing and slapped him on the chest, making Draco wince. "No looking! You know better than that."
Narcissa waves to Dibby to bring the packages elsewhere.

"Have you finished your vows that you insisted on writing yourself?" She asks Draco.

"Almost."
