It's Draco and Olivia.

My blood starts to boil as my thoughts run rampant in my head, thinking of all the different outcomes this can go into. Most of them being that I just kill both of them myself.

I told Draco to stay away from her. This doesn't look like 'staying away'.

I continue to lurk around the corner, out of eyesight from them. I can't hear their conversation but I can see their facial structures perfectly fine, so I know for a fact, that it's them.

I continue watching them for a while, waiting for someone to give me a reason as to why I should just make one of them combust into flames.
Someone bumps into me from behind, and tried to apologize before I whisper-yell for them to get the fuck away from me before I make them eat their own tongue for the rest of eternity.

When I looked back at the two blondes, my heart dropped.

Their two figures morphed into one. I mean, we were never together right? Officially. Just two people who seemed to have no interest in anyone else, besides each other... until now. Of course Draco wouldn't pass up the opportunity to be worshipped. I should've expected this to happen eventually. So why do I still feel like I'm dying?

I'm just staring at them, kissing. I feel my eyes welt up, but I catch them before they fall. There's no way in bloody hell I, Joy Deveroux, will ever cry over a guy.

I slap myself to put me into a bit of a shock, and turn back to the Great Hall.

-

As soon as I get in, Blaise bumps into me. "Hey, did you find him?"
I'm still a bit hazy. "Find who?"
"Malfoy."
Mhm, just sucking the face off of the she-devil. "Oh... no, I didn't."

I take seat next to Tori as she wonders where I've been. I really debated on whether or not I should tell her, but I eventually decided not to.
I continue to talk to Tori about other things before I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn and see Draco. My stomach starts turning into knots.
"May I?" He offers me his hand.
I hesitantly nod and grab his hand with mine. He links my arm to his and escorts me to dance floor.

It's a slow dance, and I start to get wildly uncomfortable. I try my best to avoid making eye contact with him, but I can feel his eyes on me.

"Did I mention how gorgeous you look tonight, love?" He whispers in my ear. He decided to break the silence.
"Thank you," I give him a half smile.

"What's wrong?"

'What's wrong?' Let's see how long it'll take for him to tell me.

"Nothing? I'm spectacular." The next words came out like word vomit. "Where were you earlier? I didn't see you anywhere." He stumbles on his words. "Oh..uh-uhm just went for some air." I still avoid eye contact, "Blaise told me you got into an argument with Lawrence." He chuckles, "Yeah, he was being a git." For the rest of the song, we danced in silence.

"I'm getting tired, I think I'm gonna head back." I let go of his hand. "I'll walk with you." He starts to follow me out. "No, it's okay. I'll just go by myself."
"Joy—" Draco tries to grab my arm but narrowly misses. I snap my head back, "I don't need a babysitter, Draco. I can walk to the dungeons by myself."
I pick up the bottom of my dress before walking out of the Great Hall.

I didn't make it to the dungeons. I found myself at the astronomy tower.

I sat against the ledge, my body leaning against the rail that's keeping me from falling forward. I fiddled with my wand, wondering why I didn't hex them as soon as I saw their shadows morphed together. Every part of me wants to crawl into a hole and die, but my pride won't let me.
I'm a fucking Deveroux, for Salazar's sake. I'm a fucking prize. Not even a Malfoy should be able to hurt me.

Bloody hell, when did I get so fucking weak?

I see an owl in the distance, soaring through the skies. It slows it's speed as it slowly approaches me. The owl looks familiar, but I don't know from where. I take the letter from its beak before it flies away.

I open the envelope and read the letter inside. My eyes dart down the parchment fast as every word stings just a little bit more. I quickly stand back up and run down the steps of the astronomy tower, straight to Dumbledores office.
