Always. (A Draco Malfoy Story)

Feel better.

Narcissa notified us that we were more than welcome to stay at the Manor whenever we wanted, but Draco and I felt more comfortable being at my estate for the time being.

Narcissa was off to deal with the matters in regards to Lucius' unfortunate capturing and declined any assistance from Draco and I. She assure us she had everything under control, and that she will see us the day of the trial.

We got back to my house and we both began to yawn in exhaustion. This whole day was exhausting.
We went straight to my room and got ready for bed.

I woke up the next day, not getting much sleep. The nightmares were on repeat in one night and I couldn't wake myself up to take me away from the scene.

I woke up groggy and sore, everywhere. I wondered why my body ached... then I looked over and saw Draco facing away from me, I smirked and thought, 'Heh, oh yeah.'

I made my way to the bathroom to wash up. I was still half sleep while I was showering, so I didn't noticed the many love bites Draco left on me until I stood in front of the bathroom mirror. Fuck, I look disgusting... but I'm still strangely turned on.
I giggled and threw on new clothes before going downstairs for breakfast.

Binky and the other elves were already cooking once I reached the kitchen. They all turned to greet me good morning but they all simultaneously gasped once they saw the purple marks on my neck and neckline. "Miss Joy!" Binky ran over to me, "Are you alright?"
I sat on my chair perfectly calm and smiled, "Spectacular." I grabbed some fruit and added it to my yogurt before digging in.

It wasn't long before Draco joined me in the kitchen. His hair still wet from the shower and his love bites were fewer, but darker. He smirked as he saw me admiring the masterpiece I left on his skin, "Take a picture, it'll last longer." I rolled my eyes before displaying his artwork on my skin.
He almost spit out his drink, "Good luck hiding that." He laughed while wiping his mouth dry.

We are in silence for a bit as I observed Draco. I could tell that his mind was somewhere else this morning, given the news about Lucius and our now doomed future. I rested my hand on his back and slowly rubbed against it, "How are you feeling?"

He scoffs, "Like hell." He played with his food for a bit before dropping his utensils. He let out a deep sigh before pushing his plate away and sinking his face into his hands.
I rested my head on his shoulders, and started to console him as much as I could. He gently kissed my forehead to ask, "What's the plan for today, love?"

I shrugged and said, "Whatever you wanna do today." He made a thinking face. I interrupted him, "On second thought scratch that. How about we invite Tori and Blaise over? Keep us company?" He nods, "Sounds good to me."

I sent Rue on her way to to invite Tori and Blaise over. I mean, I'm very sure that Blaise is spending his summer at Tori's.
Within a few hours, Tori and Blaise floo into the house.

"Oi! Draco?" Blaise called out. "Joy? Lovebirds, you have visitors! So stop having sex please!" Tori's voice could be heard all around the house.
Draco walked out the room to look over the second floor ledge to greet them, "Greengrass, you would be hearing Joy scream for me if we were having sex right now." "Shut it, Draco." I emerged from the back of the house.

"An empty house... with just you two?" Tori's smug face quickly dropped when I nudged her. "What about you two? I know for damn sure, you made your sisters leave the house everyday." I chuckled. Tori just shrugged and giggled.

The rest of the day was peaceful. I kept glancing over to Draco, whose smile never once dropped since Tori and Blaise arrived. I'm glad I got to get his mind off of Lucius for a bit.

We said our goodbyes to Tori and Blaise and reminded them to come over anytime this summer. "Give me a heads up though, in case we need to get dressed." Draco joked and gave a nod to Blaise. I rolled my eyes when I saw Blaise winked back at him. "You are both idiots."

We washed up and got ready for bed.
"I really needed today, love. Thank you for inviting them over." He gently kisses my cheek. "I'm just glad I got to see you smile," I assured him.
"How did I get so lucky?" I smirked, "You can thank our parents for that." He shakes his head, "Nah, I think we would've ended up together without their help." I walked over to him, and looked up at his gorgeous icy eyes, "Really?" He nods.

"I love you." "I love you too."
