JUDY ANN's POV

I punched one of the trees here in the forest as I tried to remove the guilt from my heart. Since I killed my victim a while ago, I felt nothing but guilt. What the h*ll is wrong with me? I've been a killer. I killed my victims without feeling any guilt, so why now?

"I am serious. I may not a good person, but I believe that no one has the right to take someone else's life except God. He gave us the life we have, and only he has the right to take it back."

"Go away!" Sigaw ko. Mula nang marinig ko iyon mula sa kanya hindi na nawala sa isip ko.

"Tsk, you are acting like a psycho who didn't eat her medicine."

I look at the person sitting on the tree's big root. "What are you doing here, Hinami?"

"Wala akong trabaho kaya hinanap na lang kita, baka may mapala ako sa 'yo ngunit hindi ko aakalaing busy ka lang pala sa pagsuntok sa punong iyan. Poor tree, it didn't even do anything, but you are hurting it."

Bagsak ang mga balikat na naupo ako sa ugat ng puno sa tabi niya. "What is your reason for not drinking humans's blood?"

I felt her curious eyes on me. "What did you eat to ask that?"

"Just answer me."

She slowly shook her head as if she couldn't believe what she just heard from me. "Well, because cow's blood is tastier than human's blood."

"That is your only reason?" I asked in disbelief.

Tumango-tango siya. "Yup, why you asked?"

"Hindi dahil sa nagi-guilty ka lang pumatay ng tao?"

"Why? Is that the reason why you were hurting that poor tree?"

I glared at her. "Will you just answer me?"

"Fine, fine, I don't feel guilty about killing humans. I just don't like their blood, but there's a person who makes me badly want to drink human's blood."

I arched an eyebrow. "Who?"

"Daegan Perez."

"Don't you dare lay even a fingertip on him, I swear, I will cut your hand."

She laughed like a psycho. "What a miracle! Tell me, Judy, What did he do to you to be that overprotective?" Sininghalan ko siya na ikinatawa niya. "Kahit ang ugali niya ay nakukuha mo na."

Nagtsk ako. "Tigilan mo ako, Hinami Francisco."

"So how's your search for your emperor to be?"

"Search... oh my, I need to go."

She gave a mischievous smirk. "Don't tell me you forgot about it. Is that how strong is his effect on you to currently forget your primary goal?"

Umiling-iling siya. "Nagda-diet ka ba?"

"Bakit?"

Sinuri niya ako mula ulo hanggang paa. "Ngayon ko lang napansing medyo pumapayat ka."

"Hindi ako nagda-diet. Ano namang mapapala ko roon?"

"To maintain our body healthy?"

"Tsk. Tigilan mo nga ako. I need to start searching for my future emperor."

"How stupid of you. He is just around. Why can't you see that?"

Natigil ako sa akmang pag-alis at nagtataka siyang tiningnan. "What do you mean?"
