Stuck at home, oh it's awful guys

Waking up, you notice you're on an exit ramp off the freeway. "Oh sorry," Anne says, as she bumps you, moving stuff around. Soon Aragon parked in a gas station and everyone got out of the car. Walking into the gas station you notice there's peanut butter M&Ms. Remembering you got peanut butter M&Ms on the way out to Denver, you realize that's the perfect way to tell them. Grabbing 7 bags of peanut butter M&Ms you walk to the register and buy them, along with a Propel. You walk back out to the car. Cathy, Anna, and Kitty are already in the car. Climbing in next to Kitty, you notice your phone. Anne had left it with your headphones in the back of the seat pocket. None of the people in the car would snitch on you if they even notice at all. Slowly you slide the phone out, even though you're breaking a rule, you're not going to break a rule. Quietly you say to Siri, "Musical theatre playlist." Soon the music starts. The first song is "Into the Woods" From Into the woods. Soon, you're asleep, and it's your fault because you had the whole Into the Woods songs in order.

/HI! This weekend I have a pageant thing, so hopefully, I'll win. I got popsicles today in study hall so that's great. I watched Into the Woods, NOT THE MOVIE. I watched the Broadway recording, if you search it on YouTube, it comes up. Watch it, if you haven't. It's SO good. Top 5 of the musicals I've seen. Have I even watched 5? Yes, I think I've watched like 7. Plus, the person who plays the witch in the original is amazing. Not dissing Meryl Streep, she's amazing. Any requests for what musical I should watch next? I was told to watch Into the Woods and it was worth it./

You wake up, to "Dead Girl Walking" playing and the bag with the M&Ms by your feet moving. "Um, Anne?" You say, seeing the back of Anne's head and her space buns. "Sorry, but I'm hungry, and they're in a mood so...." Anne says motioning towards Aragon and Jane, who were listening to music and singing along. "Here," you say and hand her some gum. Anne finally sits back, happy with the gum. Leaning back you enjoy your music and laugh at Aragon and Jane. Soon, everyone seems to be paying attention. Anna's phone had died, Cathy finished her book, Kitty woke up from her nap, now was the perfect time to tell them. Slowly you grab 2 bags of M&Ms and hold them over the seat so Cathy and Anna can see them. "Thanks, y/n," Cathy says as she grabs them. You put 2 more bags for Jane and Aragon on the console. Then you hand a bag to Anne and one to Kitty. Before anyone says anything, you stick an earbud in and sit back. You loop the other around your ear, so it looks like you have them both in, but you don't. Then you close your eyes pretending to fall asleep, but really you eavesdrop.

"Is she asleep?" Anne says, after around a minute. "I think so," Kitty says, as you feel her breath on your cheek. "Okay if she's asleep, can we talk about the elephant?" Anna asks. "What elephant?" Jane asks, looking around the car. Kitty makes a face, "We gave y/n peanut butter M&Ms on the way to Denver, and she bought us all a bag." She says, making the "duh" face. "Is this some time of symbol?" Aragon wonders out loud. Everyone sits quietly in the car, thinking. Then Cathy blurts out, "This is her way of telling us she remembers!" After Cathy finishes talking, the car is quiet. "Why didn't she just tell us?" Jane asks, always naive. "Because she remembers what happened and she's a teen. Teenagers don't open up about things." Anne explains. When she finishes her long explanation you can't help but whisper, "Wow" Kitty leans next to you and whispers into your ear, "Uh, yeah, she reads." Your gig is up, at least Anne and Kitty know you're awake. Slowly you open your eyes. "Um, hi....." You say. "So you remembered?" Aragon asks you. "Yup" Anna bops you on the head, "When?!" She quizzes you. "When I read Cathy's journal." You say, turning around to look at Cathy. Cathy's laughing into her hands, you can't tell if she's happy laughing or sad laughing. "Well, since the atmosphere is so tense, maybe we should get some food," Jane suggests, her answer for everything is feeding everyone. "Sounds good to me," Aragon adds and gets on the off-ramp.

/Hi guess so I'm quarantined, for who knows how long. I'm supposed to get tested for covid tomorrow. Well I guess it'll be today, when you see it. Please wear a mask!!! I honestly hate being home and isolated. Please help stop the spread!/
