HARRY'S POV

Ellie hung up the phone and I rubbed my face. When I saw her name pop up I thought I was reading it wrong. But that face wasn't anyone else's.

I know it wouldn't have just been the two of us on Sunday but I wish she would have been in the same building as me.

ELLIE'S POV

The day of Harry's birthday I looked at all the photos we've taken together. It didn't make me sad it made me happy. I know I can still have a friendship like that with him.

I posted a picture of us but I felt it was hard to pick one.

I walked down the stairs and no one was home. I didn't know where they were but thought it was nice to have the house to myself.

Rufus wasn't even here which confused me. I turned on the TV and laid on the couch. I waited till it was a right time to call Harry.

When it was 11 in LA I picked up my phone and called Harry. He picked up right away.

"Hello?"

"Happy birthday Harry!" I smiled over the phone.

"Aw thank you so so so much"

"I hope you have fun tonight"

"I will but not completely"

"Why?" I don't know why i asked because I knew what he would say.

"Nadine is riding with us afterwards"

"What" I asked with my mind blown by not knowing what he meant.

"Sorry I was talking to Jeff"

"Oh. Um well hey Lou is calling me but I hope you have fun tonight and happy birthday"

"Ellie wait"

"What?"

"Please don't be mad"

"I'm not mad" I laughed.

"You sound like it"

"Because I got no sleep and I have to head to Lou's in a bit but that will be fun"

"I can't wait to see you" His voice was low.

I hung up and threw my phone away from me and screamed. I don't know what I was thinking. It makes me sad to know I'm not there tonight but I already knew who would be showing up.

I got dressed and headed to Lou's. That's what I need. To take my mind off of things.

When I got to her house she opened the door and I hugged her.

"Ellie" She moved us side to side and I laughed.

"How have all of you been?"

I leaned down to hug Lux and took my jacket off.

"Good, what about yourself. Did you call Harry?"

"Um yeah I did and in the middle of it things got awkward so we ended the conversation but other than that I'm great."

We talked about the tour coming up and what we will be doing. I ate lunch with them and forgot about he whole Harry thing.

I sat in the kitchen drinking wine and talking with Gemma and Lou. Lux was also with us talking up a storm. Along with singing. It's so cute when she sings, best singing out there.

It was getting late and we would be leaving in a few days to head to Australia and I need to go home and pack.

"Well I'll see you soon" I stood up and hugged Lou.
