Ch.169

Phoebe is excited I'm visiting New York again. I'm excited to go but I didn't want to go alone. I know Sam wanted me to go but I convinced him to go with me. He parked his car and grabbed my bag as handed it to me. I put my sunglasses on top of my head and looked at him.

We sat waiting to board the plane and I laid my head on his shoulder. His large hand sat on my knee.

"Thank you for coming"

"It was time to visit New York again"

Finally the flight was over. Sam went to the bathroom while I waiting outside of it for him. He picked up his and then grabbed my hand.

"What happened to give this time?"

"I know but I felt like people should see this" He was laughing and I rolled my eyes.

We got a cab and headed to Phoebes. I don't want Sam to do anything when we get there. He's not staying at Phoebes the whole time. He's staying at one of his friends apartments up state.

Phoebe opened up the door and pulled me into a hug.

"I've missed you guys" She then pulled Sam into the hug and I looked at Logan and he was drinking a beer on the couch.

"Hey" I smiled at him.

"Hey how have you been?"

"Good what about yourself?"

"Pretty good" He smiled and it was really late.

Sam and I went to the extra room they have and I brushed my teeth and put on a t shirt that was Harry's.

I laid in bed and Sam turned the other way. He was telling me something but I wasn't even listening.

"Are you awake?"

"Mhm"

"Okay well I'm finally going to sleep" He moved around some more and then after a while I could hear him snore.

I couldn't sleep now and I was going through old pictures on my phone. They were of Harry and I. I snuck out of the bed and left the room. I wrapped my travel blanket around me and slipped outside onto the roof.

I pulled my legs close to my chest and looked at all the lights. They were beautiful so I took a picture. I laid my head on my knees and listened to the city. I wish I could do this back in England but it's not like this.

The quiet is so nice sometimes. But it doesn't last forever thanks to Logan.

"Ellie" He tapped my shoulder and I looked at him.

"Hey"

"What are you doing out here?"

"I couldn't sleep? Also Sam is a loud sleeper"

He laughed and I pulled my blanket more around me. He sat next to me and I wish he wouldn't have came out here.

"How did you know I was out here?"

"I saw you walk out and then saw the picture you posted. I could tell the view" He smirked and I smiled lightly.

"Are you doing okay?"

"Yeah, I've just had a lot to do lately"

"I feel you" He nodded.

There was silence for a while until he spoke.

"I'm going to go back inside now"

"Okay"

"I'll leave the door unlocked for you"

"Thank you" I smiled and watched him leave.

Not much longer after he left my phone was ringing with a call from Harry. I answered and he sounded sleepy.

"Why are you still up El?"

"Can't sleep"

"Why? You love to sleep"

"Yeah, I guess not tonight"

"You sound sad, why?"

"I don't know" I shrugged.

"How was your flight?"

"Good"

"Long" I said again.

"Ellie you just sound so sad why?" I know I did but I couldn't help it.

"I just have made so many mistakes" My lip began to quiver.

"Was I one of them?"

"Of course not. I'm so glad I met you"

"Can I know about the mistakes?"

"I've told you about them many times. Remember our late talks?"

"How could I forgot those?" We both started laughing and I sighed at the end.

"When we see each other next I want it to just be us"

"Okay" I smiled.

"Now you sound happy. Yay!"

"I'm actually really tired now"

"Good, so am I. How about we both go to bed"

"Sounds like a plan"

"I'll stay on the phone till you get back inside"

"Okay"

I ran inside and down the hallway and headed to the apartment. I got inside and told Harry.

"Goodnight" I whispered.

"Goodnight babe love you"

"Back to babe? Wow when did that happen?"

"Go to bed you dork" He laughed.

"Love you too" I locked the door.

"I love you Ellie"

I hung up and went back to the room. Sam was still asleep and I curled up next to him. He moved toward me and wrapped his arms around me.

"Thanks for being here" I whispered.

"Anytime" He kissed my head and I fell asleep.
