Chapter 22

Today we were leaving. I was so sad, it went by super fast.
I got my suitcase and went downstairs. Once all of our luggage was out the door and into Marleys car, we were off to the airport.

We all drove in silence, until we pulled up to the terminal.
Marley helped us get our luggage out of the car, and then here came the hard part.
Marley went to hug Stefan, and I heard him say, "We will be together, soon."

Marley nodded and a tear slipped from her eyes.
She hugged Sam, and she whispered something into his ear. He nodded, and squeezed Marley tight.

Sam POV

Marley came and hugged me, then she whispered, "You take care of my best friend. If you hurt her, you have no idea what I'm capable of. Promise me that you'll protect her, okay?"

I nodded and hugged her tightly.

El POV

Now it was time to say bye to my best friend.
She hugged me, and we were both crying.

"Call me everyday, so I won't be so lonely here. Thank you for coming down, and I approve of Sam."

I smiled and wiped my tears away. We hugged one last time, then we were heading back to Omaha.

Sam, Stefan, and I were walking hand in hand. It was cute, I just wanted Marley to come so damn bad. We made the best of friends on this trip.
Sam helped me get my luggage on the plane, then we sat down next to each other. I rested my head on his shoulder, and started to drift off to sleep.
Sam was whispering sweet nothings into my ear, little things like,

You're so beautiful

I'm so damn lucky

I love you

And I immediately fell asleep.

Once I woke up, we were landing and I decided to talk to Sam for the last 20 minutes.

"What did Marley whisper to you?"

Sam took my hand and said, "She told me to take care of her best friend, that if I hurt her, I had no idea what shes capable of. She told me to promise her, and I did."

I smiled. "I love you both."

I kissed Sam and then we landed.
Once we got our luggage from baggage claim, we went to see Leigh and Mallory picking us up.
We got into the car, and Sam went to check his email.

"Guys, guys, holy shit."

We all turned to look at him and he said, "Could You Be The One, it's gonna be on iTunes tomorrow."

We all cheered and congratulated Sam. I was so proud of him, so damn proud.

Once Leigh dropped us off, I told them I was going with Sam.
As Sam and I walked into his house, he grabbed my waist and started kissing all over my face. I wrapped my arms around his neck and buried my face into his neck. He lifted me up, and spun us around.

I remembered, that tomorrow was our 7 month anniversary, holy wow.
It all went by so fast, almost a year. Wow. And CYBTO comes out on iTunes tomorrow, gosh.
I was still lifted up, as Sam brought us to the couch and fell. I was laying on top of him, while I started to run my fingers through Sams hair.
His hair was so soft oh my god.

I was so focused on his hair, I seriously couldn't stop touching it.
I didn't realize Sam was looking at me, until I looked back at Sams face.
"You okay?"

"I like it when you play with my hair, it's cute. You get really focused."

I smiled and kissed him. Sam wrapped his big arms around my waist and we just sat in that position for what seemed a couple hours. We talked about random stuff, then I said,

"I think I'm gonna nap, I'm tired from flying, so if you wanna move you can."

Sam shook his head. "I'll stay, because I love you. You and me remember?"

"You and Me Sammy."
