Chapter 10

El's POV

After Sam told me his dream about me, I started to think. I've been getting this weird feeling for Sam. I don't know what it is, but maybe I do. And maybe I'm just trying to ignore it because Sam is my best friend and he probably doesn't feel the same way.

Sam POV

El is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. And after I told her about that stupid dream, I don't know what will happen. I know I like her a lot, but she's my best friend and she probably doesn't feel the same way.

El POV

I was driving to the grocery store, because we literally have no food and I was starving. As I parked and walked inside, I saw Wesley. And Wesley saw me. And Wesley ran to me before I could get back to my car.

"El, listen, I made a stupid mistake. Please, give me another chance." I laughed and said, "You hurt me, Wesley. You just think I'll  just give you another chance?"

He looked at me with sadness. He was about to grab my hand when the girl Lizzy comes around the corner and throws herself on Wesley.

"Wes, lets go." She glared at me and Wesley was looking at me, it looked like he was calling for help. This was hilarious, he hates Lizzy. I mean, I would have helped him. But the guy cheated on me with a complete downgrade. No offense, (a lot of offense) but it's true.

"Bye Wesley. Have a nice life."

I walked out, just deciding I would go to McDonalds instead.
And yes, I'm in love with McDonalds.
As I walked in, I saw Sam waiting for his food. I ran up behind him and jumped on his back. That's when he screamed like a girl.
I was laughing so hard.

"Wow am I really that scary?" Sam laughed and hugged me. His hands were lower than usual, but it was probably nothing.
I ordered some fries and a sprite, and Sam and I decided to go over to my place.

Once we arrived, we walked inside and set our things down on the counter. I went to put my coat and bag into the closet, then when I walked into the entrance of the kitchen, I completely ran into Sam. I was about to fall, when Sam just happened to catch me.
He brought me up slowly, or what it felt to be slow, and when we were looking into each others eyes, I couldn't fight the urge anymore. I grabbed his neck and I kissed him. On the lips.
All of my confidence totally rushed into my body, I felt so happy. And I haven't felt happy in a long long time.

Sam picked me up, as we were still kissing, and spun me around. As we pulled apart, we looked at each other again, and I started smiling like an idiot. Same with Sam, damn those dimples and the teeth. I was obsessed with this boy.
Sam hugged my waist tighter and whispered, "You don't know how long I've been wanting to do that."

I smiled and kissed him again. We were both smiling, I finally knew this feeling.
I seriously liked Sam, more than friend status. He was my best friend, and something more.
