Chapter 28

I just stared at Jack, not knowing what to say.

"But, Leigh..."

Jack sighed and looked down at his hands. "I like you both, I don't know. I just have stronger feelings for you."

I got my bag and stood up. "Jack, I love you. As a friend. And you know I'm in love with Sam, and Leigh does not deserve this. You need to tell her the truth. I think I'm just gonna leave now, but don't ignore me. We will work things out, okay?"

Jack nodded and I turned on my heels, heading towards my car and driving home.

I walked into my house, seeing Sam and Emily in the kitchen. It's like they live here now, which I guess they basically do.

I looked at both of them and they instantly knew that it wasn't good.

Emily leaned down on the counter reading my face. "Okay, spill."

I took a deep breath and started talking.

"I was going out to lunch with G, and once we sat down, he says that he's liked me for a long time and that he couldn't hold it in anymore. He says he likes Leigh, but he has stronger feelings for me. I said that Im in love with Sam, and that we would work things out. And the worst part, he hasn't told Leigh. Oh my god."

Sam looked shocked, and Emily looked the same. Sam wrapped his arms around my waist and said, "Well, G will not steal my girl, and we'll work this out. You have us, okay?"

I nodded and he kissed my nose.

Later, Sam and I were checking emails when Lori comes in with letters for Sam. "Sam these are for you from some fans of yours."

She left the room, and Sam and I looked at each other before diving into the letter.

Sam was reading, and once he finished reading it, he smiled insanely big, and hugged me.

"We're getting bigger everyday."

I smiled and read the letter, and it just made me so happy.

Today was Monday, the last Monday before summer. I got dressed, drove to school, and I saw G and Leigh together happy as can be. But when Jack saw me, he let go of Leigh and didn't say a word to her. I went up to G, and I whispered to him, "Jack, I know what you told me is hard, but if you don't tell Leigh, then I will."

He nodded and I walked to Sam. We all went to class, and it was all sorting things to finish before summer. Basically, I was on my phone the whole time texting the group.

The day just went by super fast, Stefan and I decided to skip the rest of the day and just go get lunch, we haven't spent a lot of time together.

"I heard what G said."

I looked at him and said, "Who told?"

"Don't worry Emily and Sam told me. By the way, I have a surprise for you when we get home."

I gave him a look, and we finished and went home.

I went inside, where Stefan was covering my eyes. Once he let me open them, I saw Marley.

"OH MY GOD MAR!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE??"

She hugged me and said, "IM HERE FOR THE SUMMER!!"

Stefan went to her and said, "Now we can be together."

This just made me so happy, but what to do about Jack.
