Chapter 16

Sira was jamming to the song that was playing on her earpods as she was walking towards the cafe where she had agreed to meet you after you finish your work.

It's not that you had anything to discuss but she just felt the need to hang out with you so she had texted you and then she had gotten ready and happily came all the way from her house till the address you told her despite how far it was for her.

She spotted the sign with the name of the cafe and speed her steps, wanting to enter as quickly as possible and avoid remaining in the cold that was outside. An exhale left her lips once she passed by the glassy door and the warm atmosphere engulfed her, making her smile in instant comfort. She took a moment to look around and approach a table she deemed better to occupy. Once she settled she called the waiter over and gave him her order the waited till he returned to her with the warm Cacao that literally made her stare at the cup as if she was in love with it.

The waiter almost laughed at her expression as he sure found it adorable how her eyes lit up and he even found it cute the way she turned around and thanked him as if he had saved her life or something.

Such a warm person.

The stranger thought as he walked away, leaving Sira alone, staring out of the window and enjoying her drink while waiting for you. Minutes passed by without her taking much notice, as seeing the weather change outside started occupying her thoughts, hoping that you had an umbrella with you -and her precocious actions were unnecessary-, in case this drizzle was to turn into a full out raining session. However, a voice reached her ears, calling her name and she snapped out of her thoughts immediately, only to face someone who she wasn't expecting to see.

"Jungkook, Hi!" She beamed excitingly to have coincidentally fallen upon him so unexpectedly and once Jungkook approached close enough, they shared a quick hug, before they took their seats.

"I sure wasn't expecting to see you here. How come you are in this area?" Jungkook asked her, him looking as surprised to see her as she was.

"I am waiting for Y/N, her workplace is close to this area. What about you?" 

"Areum's company is a block away. I came to pick her up but she had some more things to do so I was walking around to pass time till she is ready to leave." He replied just as the waiter reached at their table again.

"Am...Can I have a Caramel Makiato on the go, please?" He ordered and as the waiter left he returned his eyes on Sira.

"Wait. Black again?" Sira pointed out and she couldn't help but laugh finding this ridiculous how no matter how much time it passes whenever they are to meet, Jungkook is always dressed in all black.

"You may not believe it but I swear it's not always intentional." He defended himself, admitting that when he was to know that Sira would be around he purposely wears black, just to keep the Dark Knight joke alive but apparently fate wants to keep that joke as much as he does.

"It's okay, it's okay. I believe you, Sir." She joked and Jungkook just laughed, feeling comfortable at her presence. They continued their small talk till Jungkook received a message from Areum and then he bid his goodbye to Sira, taking along with him, his coffee cup as he stood up from his chair.

"Wait. It's raining outside. You don't have an Umbrella." Sira pointed out as she saw again out the window and noticed the downpour that was going on.

"It's okay, I have a leather jacket o-"

"Take this. I brought two with me in case Y/N hasn't brought one along with her today. Now that I think of it, I should call her to see if she needs me to go pick her up or something." Sira handed him an orange-colored umbrella, without even waiting for him to accept it or not, then she turned and grabbed her phone, proceeding to do what she thought of a second ago.
