Chapter 50

Jimin was smiling from ear to ear as he was driving you to work, his one hand resting on your thigh while the other was mastering skilfully the wheel. A soft melody was echoing from the radio which you had turned on as you stared out the window, recalling all the plans you did yesterday with him about you moving out of your apartment.

You had agreed on doing so at the weekend since you will be off work and he of course said that he will come to help you pack and even call workers for you if you needed them. It was just two days away and you sure were feeling super excited yesterday for the way Jimin was speaking about your life together, sure was exciting. Or it was his imagination that made it so. Nonetheless, you had decided to take that step despite the fact that you still held a lot of fear inside regarding that huge step.

At that very moment, however, it was not that fear that had made you fall silent as you observed the outside but it was your housemate, Daniel. He was supposed to stay with you for a month as he had nowhere to go yet you were leaving before him, a thing that mean that he could keep the house if he wanted but you doubted if he had the money to pay the rent alone. Would leaving two months prepaid offend him? You couldn't help but wonder yet you truly wanted to do so as that was most likely all you could help him out with at this point.

You sure did not know him much but the possibility that he was in a tight spot was not zero and after what happened with Helena's diary and Jaehyun, you just saw Daniel as someone that could risk a lot for a friend, since Jaehyun said that he did it for him. Regardless, you sure needed to have a talk with him about that too and confront him right.

Despite the fact that you considered him a good person there sure was something off with that guy. Something you couldn't exactly pinpoint but since Sira dislikes him, then definitely something must be there as she usually is a good judge of character. Daniel surely was one more thing you had on your list to take care of along with Jaehyun who you are supposed to be friends with officially now yet he too was someone your gut feeling didn't leave you alone about.

If you were to put aside that case then there came Byeol and the fact that you were basically plotting against her and doubting her regarding Namjoon. Another situation that had nothing to do with you yet somehow you had gotten involved and you wanted to see it through for the sake of Elle to whom you felt sorry towards, after the mess you made her go through yesterday with Namjoon.

"Where is your mind travelling to babe?" Jimin's voice made you snap out of your vortex of thoughts and bringing your head to turn around and look towards him with a smile that instantly appeared on your lips.

"Work. I will be quite busy these days. I will tell you as soon as we get a day off together." You reassured him as you totally wanted to tell him but somehow time never felt right nor enough to say everything that had been going around.

"Good, I actually have something to talk about to, so the weekend it is." He briefly looked your way as his smile fell slightly and he retrieved his hand from your thigh and returned it on the wheel.

"You have? Is it important?" You questioned for you became instantly curious of what could he possibly have to talk about yet Jimin just laughed and shook his head as a reply, despite the fact that he already knew that it was not exactly that small of an issue. 

It was the opposite actually for he was sure that telling you the news that he was adopted and Taehyung apparently was not really his brother, would definitely shock you.

He started humming along to the song after the pause that fell between you and you couldn't help but feel so relaxed for his voice was surely sweet and nice, despite the fact that he was messing up the lyrics and making you crack up here and there.
