You took a second look at your screen as you had reached at the cafe Byeol had invited you to meet with her and had occupied the table one of the waiters had escorted you to, after you let them know your name.

It was obvious that she had some kind of authority in this place as you wouldn't have even been able to enter if it wasn't for her having left your name to the guard by the door yet despite how out of your waters you felt in this place, you had still kept your confidence until you had sat on that table. A table which you had been occupying alone for ten minutes now and she was nowhere to be seen.

Your pride had started to get bothered by this occurrence despite the fact that you didn't know if she was doing it on purpose or not. Leaving you waiting made you feel as if she was trying to leave behind linger a sense of superiority that as far as you recalled, she liked having.

"Oh well, she was the one that needed to see me and not the other way around. I am out of here." You murmured to yourself and stood up from your seat, grabbed your bag and took some steps away, only to halt soon enough as Byeol finally appeared, and approached you with a smile on her face and her bodyguard standing close behind her.

"Hello Y/N, I am so sorry I left you waiting but something came up. It's been so long since we haven't seen each other. Have you have changed so much." She went on speaking to you in a rather friendly manner, as if she was really an old friend that you hadn't seen in ages. If someone was to see the scene they may have really thought that she was someone that used to be close to you and not one of your bullies.

Her behavior had you speechless for a bit for it felt hypocritical to you. Even though she might have truly been trying to be friendly with you.

You let her take your arm and walk you back on the table, where you once again took the seat you have and she sat right across you then proceeded to dismiss her bodyguard and signal the waiter to bring in her order.

"So Y/N, how have you been? You know I was really surprised when I found out you were my boyfriend's secretary." She placed her hands below her chin and looked at you with a smile that strangely made you feel bitter.

When you had agreed to meet her, you had hoped that she could have changed and became a better person yet now that she was being nice, you found yourself struggling to believe it.

"Oh well, I wasn't expecting you to be the girlfriend of my boss either but here we are, I suppose." You decided to not let your doubtful mind ruin this moment and a potential sincere try of someone apologizing to you, as you were hoping that she would at some point in the conversation.

She laughed a bit at your reply and paused the interaction as the waiter left her coffee before her, only to continue talking once the man had left. "Life is sure full of surprises and you have a talent of disappearing and reappearing out of nowhere,it seems."

"What do you mean by that?" You questioned her as you didn't quite get what she was trying to hint on.

"Oh, nothing. It's just that, you know. Back then when we found out you moved away out of nowhere, we were all really shocked." Her words had you crack a smile as you found it too funny. Her of all people, claiming to be surprised.

"Why were you shocked? Shouldn't you have guessed that it wouldn't have been easy to show up after that day?" You retorted as you looked her straight in the eyes and witnessed her smile falter a bit.

"You still remember that? It's been so long. I guess we used to do many childish little stupid stuff." The use of her words and the tone she spoke in, made you instantly disappointed for apparently she had yet to matured enough to be able to admit her own mistakes and live up to them. She wasn't strong enough to call things as they were so she tried to lower the intensity of her own actions against you, and make them look as if they weren't anything big.
