Chapter 44

Jin had sat you and Elle down and had shared with you both his suspicions related to Namjoon's fiance as well as Areum's ongoing observation that she was doing because she had carried suspicions of her way before he did. He explained how she and he as well were suspicious of Elle too however after today he claimed to be willing to trust her and include her in the plans he has been thinking about.

Plans he had yet to share as he was waiting for Areum, whom he called and gave the address to come over. Till that happens, however, you couldn't help but question him over how was he actually thinking of enlightening the situation and bring the truth-whatever that may be-to the surface.

"First of all, if we are to follow the assumption that she did something to gain for the benefits a relationship with him would get her economically, then that also means that she does not really have feelings of love towards my brother and is actually faking being in love with him." Jin crossed his feet and made himself comfortable on the chair he had decided to occupy, his face leaning slightly at his right side where he soon placed his hand for support.

"Okay, that sounds reasonable but how we will get to know her feelings? There's no way she would admit that to anyone" Elle argued and Jin smiled as he already had thought about that too.

"It's simple really. My only problem is that I have yet to find someone capable enough to bring my thoughts to reality. I need someone that is very good at seducing people. If he manages to win her over and make her cheat then her supposed love for Namjoon would have shown its depth right away because if she truly loves him she would never cheat. However having in mind that she would be risking financially by cheating and risking her relationship with him, we need someone irresistible and a literal master at swaying people off their feet."

"Swaying people off their feet, huh...Tae sounds perfect for this." You spoke your thoughts unconsciously as upon hearing that sentence you couldn't help but recall how good he was at manipulating and alluring someone if he wanted to. The fact that he had managed to steal and sleep with every past girlfriend Jimin had was also quite big proof that he was an expert at making girls that claim to love someone break that love for him.

"Oh! Do you have someone in mind, Miss Mun? Please give him a call for me."Jin seemed enthusiastic upon hearing your words and you just looked at him with wide eyes, just now realizing that you had said that out loud.

"Oh, no-no. He can't get involved in this. He does not do such things anymore. He is dating my best friend." You turned down his request as politely and absolutely as you could but for some reason, they still looked at you in a persuasive way for minutes on end.

"It's really not a good idea. Taehyung is busy now. He is on the post of the CEO of the Park enterprise and-"

"He really does sound perfect. An even richer guy will surely make her be swayed more easily if money is her benefit. I know this may sound like an absurd request to do to him but if I judge by the way you referred to him earlier, you seem like you are close enough to him to perhaps...ask him a favour?" Jin leaned forward as he stared at you with hopeful eyes and you just cursed yourself inside for having spoken of him, to begin with.

"I mean...if that's the only way...I can ask him." Your words made the man before you quite happy and he stood up from his chair and came to take a seat by your side, trapping you between him and Elle that was seated at your other side on her couch.

"Call him then. Tell him to come over. It's a great opportunity to organize this all together." He urged you with his head to reach for your phone that you had left at the table before you and after you threw your eyes at Elle and then back at him, you proceeded to do so, thinking that even if Tae was to agree to this, because of Sira he most likely would back out. Or so you were hoping.
