The sound of typing had filled the room where Jungkook was, standing in front of the multiple screens that filled his desk and most of the surface of that wall.
The curtains were closed day and night but because of the late hour the room felt even darker yet he had not noticed as he was absorbed in his work. Being a game developer sure was not easy but it was something he liked and was quite good at.
An exhale left his lips as h stretched his arms upwards, feeling the tiredness getting over him and after his eyes traveled to the corner of his screen and noticed the time, he sure thought that he had overdone it tonight. He stood up only to then realize that a blanket was over his legs, keeping him warm and as he looked down he smiled and picked it up, recalling the fact that Areum had passed by and placed over his lap that blanket some minutes ago, or so it felt in his memory cause, in reality, it had been some hours.
He folded the blanket and left it on his chair and walked out of his room heading to the bedroom where he didn't even bother to change in his pajamas but just slipped under the blankets and wrapped his arms around Areum who seemed to be already asleep. Her, body adjusted itself to his hold, however, once he fully brought her into his back hug and rested his face at the crook of her neck softly feeling her warm skin that made him feel even more comfortable.
Jungkook couldn't help but inhale her sweet and delicate scent slowly then left a smile to appear on his lips out of happiness. He felt lucky at that instant that he had her in his life and that he had managed to come this far with her. And hopefully, they will continue being together till the end of their times, or so was his momentary wish till a sound disturbed his thoughts.
Her phone had buzzed on the commode next to their bed and had drawn his attention as he was still not asleep like her, who had heard nothing.
She probably left her Wi-Fi on.
He thought and lifted the blanket off of him, stretching his arm a bit and reaching to her phone, intending to turn the Wifi off so no notifications from any social median would bother him from falling asleep but as soon as the screen of her phone was in front of his face, he saw that it was not a notification as he thought but a text message from a number that was not saved in her phone.
He looked over at the sleeping figure of Areum for a second then just proceeded to turn the phone off completely and placed it back in its place, him returning on his, joying the warmth of her body.
Whatever it was, it can wait till tomorrow.
He thought as he left his mind fell silent and his eyelids to become heavier, till sleep finally took over him.
---Change of set---
The sounds of classical music had filled the house making the workers a bit annoyed and especially the nightguards that were patrolling around the villa of Mr. Jung. However, no matter how annoying and inappropriate was for someone to be playing music that loudly at 3 am, no one dared to go and tell the person that was inside his room, to turn it off.
Not the workers, nor his own parents whose sleep was ruined along with their mood.
"I will go check up on him dear. You put on your earmuffs for now" Mrs. Jung told her husband as she jumped out of their bed and grabbed her robe, with a reassuring smile heading out of their bedroom while Mr.Jung exhaled in frustration and disappointment over their sons, behavior.
"When is that kid going to get himself together" He mumbled as he opened his drawer to grab his earmuffs and Mrs. Jung left her sadness to appear on her face as she walked down the corridors, thinking about the emotional state of her son must be in. Jaehyun played music this loudly only when he would get desperate to shut his own thoughts out, after all, and she was aware of that fact.
Her day had been a nice day so far, she sure had been happier than most days since she had also got the chance to meet Taehyung after such a long time of not seeing him. She had missed him truly and he sure seemed quite grown since she had last seen him at her sister's death anniversary. His gaze seemed dear towards her and she had a long while since she had him looking at her that fondly. Indeed it had made her very happy. Enough to almost forget her reality but here she was brought back down from her soft cloud.
She had a son to take care of, a son that needs her yet she can't seem to find any way to reach him. What a failure of a mother that she felt as she walked down the stairs ignoring the maids that were up at the corner and heading confidently to the bedroom door of her son, JaeHyun.
"Dear...Jaehyun..." She knocked on his door as she yelled his name, in an attempt to overpower the loud sound that was even louder at his doorstep than she could hear from her bedroom.
"Jaehyun! Turn that music off!"' She shouted as she tried to grab the handle and burst inside his room but as always the door was locked and that was more of a disappointment than it was a surprise for her.
"You can just talk to me, you know I am your mother, I will try my best to help you. Just tell me what do you need, tell me and I will get it for you, okay?" She pleaded by his door and despite how lower her voice was in contradiction with the music, her words had entered the bedroom but not the ears of her son, simply because he was not there.
Under the loudspeaker that was emitting all that music, there laid a carper that was pulled over and at the usual wooden floor, a door was opened that led down to a basement that was located under JaeHyun's room. A room in which the music was able to echo as loudly as in his own room, yet in contrary with his room, that basement felt way more of a home, to him.
The blue shade that the whole place had as it was lighted by only blue lights, the black fluffy carpet in which he had laid on top of in the middle of the floor, observing the many photos of you through the years, that were covering every inch of the walls and the ceiling. Wherever he was to throw his eyes at, he was gonna be met with his savior as he referred to you. The only one that ever stood up for him. The only one who looked at him and made him feel as if he had hope in life.
Among those pictures and the classical music, JaeHyun stood, battling over his own thoughts and whispers that make his heartache. Thoughts that unfortunately no matter how loud the music was, he was still able to hear clearly enough.
Just come to me already...Come save me...One more time Y/N.
