A heart is like a ballroom that never stops playing music, rhythms you never know when will change and to what will they transform. And one's emotions are the dancers that go round and round, moving their bodies to the notes softly, until they are pushed to the centre of the dance floor and they are called to make that ballroom, remember their name.

The mind is like a puppet master, that has strings all over the body and craves to enslave those free and unpredictable dancers that hide in that ballroom and show their greatness, to extend that the vibrations of the emotions from the heart, travel through the strings of the puppeteer and shake the master itself.

Unlike the heart, however, the mind is gonna judge and analyse those dancers. Is gonna deem them as unwanted or as better to be avoided yet every time the mind succeeds in throwing out a dancer, ultimately it has shut down a part of the human being it was trying to protect. For we may have many emotions whom we would rather never see them taking the dance floor of our heart, but if they had never danced, we would have never felt the rhythms of their footsteps.

However you will find plenty of people that have ended up with empty ballrooms just because of fear of a certain dancer taking control, that be it anger, sadness or fear. Their emotions will always be unexpected and the thought that we can't have full control of them has pushed many to leave the dancers or ego and pride swaying on their high and mighty waltz.

Who cares if their ballroom will be left empty? At least they will feel safer and will lay in the arms of the mind, to soothe their wounds with the cold veil of logic. Yet someone's mind can be as torturing as feelings themselves for the mind is a vortex full of what you have ever experienced good and bad and even if you have left a feeling in the past, through your mind, you can taste hell again and again, just by slipping down in your memory line.

At the end of the day, there's no place to hide, for as long as you keep something within you, it is bound to find you and collar you against a dark corner. For there was no mind that can win over the heart without breaking its owner and as long as you carry unresolved feelings and regrets, you will never be truly free.

Like a prisoner with a chain on his feet, humans live, drugging along, their pasts. They keep walking through winds and storms, sun rays and warm days, some ignoring well the burdens of the past and others, unintentionally adding to it every time they go back to the hurtful events in their minds.

What was worse, however? We not letting go of our past or the past not letting go of us? Taehyung surely felt as if he was living both spectrums at that very moment that had stepped up from the couch he had just taken a seat at -for he barely had some minutes that had returned home with Sira from the restaurant- and had opened the door after the doorbell strangely had gone off, despite the late hour of the night.

As the familiar image of Nari - Jimin's ex-girlfriend- appeared before him, Taehyung couldn't help but lose his connection with reality briefly for he surely was not expecting to see her again, especially after knowing what she had done with the money he so irrationally had given her.

"Hey...do you have a moment?" She made eye contact with him firmly, showing no signs of shame for the trap she had put him in the last time she saw him and Taehyung just looked past his shoulder momentarily, as a wave of anxiety rose inside him at the thought and only that Sira could come at that very instant and see them.

Instead of a reply, he just pushed her outside and stepped himself out as well, closing the door behind him, before he turned around to face her again, this time showcasing an annoyed expression at her for he surely had been bothered by the audacity she had to come by his apartment.

"You better leave. I already know what you did with the last check I gave you and I have no plans of being a fool twice."

"A fool? Come on. There's no need to lie. We both know that you didn't do it cause you were trusting me to use the money for a good cause. You didn't refuse my request out of guilt." Nari smiled a bit as she placed the situation exactly how it was and Taehyung took in a deep breath as he left his hand to travel through his hair.
