Time flies, they say... Like the wind that blows mercilessly on winter days.
When was it that you first came into this apartment? Your memory was not able to recall correctly the exact date but sure it had been years.
Years which on them had brought many changes for you, one of them being that man standing on the couch right this instant, shuffling among papers that had filled your small glassy table.
He sure is an insignificant entity if you were to think that the world held billions however he was important to you because he had made you feel less alone in between that vast number of people that exist.
Is this how it feels to have someone special in your life? There were days you couldn't even imagine how it could be having someone to love you that way. Yet somehow you had reached this point and you had won his heart.
At first, this relationship seemed like an act you may see in a circus. Dangerous, risky, like an acrobat walking on rope meters above the ground. Unstable and fragile like a feather floating on the wind. Despite of being aware of all that, you had initiated it and honestly, you both had done your best for this relationship to last. And it sure had lasted through some important and heavy moments despite the considerably short time period that you were together.
Two weeks after the day you had officially become a couple with Jimin, his father -Mr. Park- had collapsed, an action that left to the surface his health condition which as expected brought much anxiety and sadness over Jimin and his brother TaeHyung.
The days that followed were difficult to manage emotionally as it hurt you being an observer. There was nothing you could do, after all, there was nothing anyone could do, and maybe on that point, you related to Jimin, as for sure, for him must have been way more painful to stand by and watch as his father's life came to an end.
On the day of his funeral, he sure had shed tears but what had made you worry was the silence that he fell in after. The isolation that he tried to throw himself into and which thankfully you managed to pull him out off.
It's been six months from those dark and difficult days of the loss and with time Jimin too started looking calmer and happier. He claims that you are the reason why but you can't fully accept that. You can not heal wounds after all. But time sure can...Or so you would like it to be.
"For how long are you going to stay there staring at me?" Jimin's voice disturbed your thought process and made you blink once and twice before a smile reached on your lips and your eyes soon averted away from him.
"I just spaced out" You replied as you approached towards the couch, taking your seat at the opposite side of him where you had left some notes."Worrying about finding a roommate again?" Jimin lifted his gaze from the papers and looked at you as he spoke.
"How can I not be when you keep rejecting every candidate that comes by." You replied as it's been a week now that you have been looking for a roommate because Jungkook moved out to stay with his girlfriend, Areum.
