Sira had stepped out of her house, dressed and in a hurry for the house could no longer contain her after the news you gave her.
No matter if you were at work or not, she had to see you even if it's for a moment and hug you, scream and jump and whatever else her excitement was to make her do, for she sure was overflowing with it.
Once she stepped outside her apartment building, she tried to collect her wide smile and buzzing happiness within her for she was now surrounded by people but strangely that try of hers just filled her with more excitement, only for her to end up cheering out loud as if she had won some kind of lottery.
Some people spared her some side glances in this morning hour and she just turned and looked at them with sparkling eyes, before informing the strangers that her best friend was getting married. News that didn't interest the passerby's but they still congratulated her friend, making her thank them before continuing her walk towards the metro station.
--- Change of set---
Jungkook was seated on his chair, having before him some breakfast and a man who he didn't remember much but he couldn't deny that he was happy that he was Areum's cousin and nothing more.
"Strange isn't it?" Yoongi broke his silence and addressed him, for from the moment he had reached Areum's place, he had barely given him a greeting.
Not because he had anything against Jungkook, on the contrary. He was from the few that didn't mind who his family was and what they do. However, from what he remembers of him as a child, he had always been nothing but trouble.
"What is?" Jungkook replied as he lifted his eyes to meet his briefly then took a spoonful of his hangover soup.
"The fact that you got together with my cousin. I remember you always saying that she was your best friend." Yoongi added before his eyes restlessly looked towards the corridor as he was waiting for Areum to get back from her office, where she excused herself for a moment to take care of some phone calls.
"She still is my best friend. The one doesn't erase the other." Jungkook let go of the spoon he was holding as he leaned back to his chair, briefly contemplating if he should speak of the question that he was actually curious over. So after the pause that fell between them, he decided to take the risk.
"How about you? How has your life been after being disowned by your family?"Yoongi left a small chuckle echo around for even though he wasn't expecting him to bring something like that up, he sure was aware that he must know, why he was at the point that he was.
"Do you regret betraying them?" He added as Yoongi had spoken of nothing back and only then did he let their eyes meet, making Jungkook understand fully that he didn't appreciate the fact that he was bringing up such things.
"Do you regret being erased from your family line, just so you could be with Areum?" Yoongi's response had him poke his cheek a bit in annoyance, for he was getting back at him.
"I don't obviously, but I betrayed none in the process. I was loyal to my family till the end."
"It must be nice then, having a family worth being loyal to." Yoongi followed his words sharply, wanting to bring this slight accusation of his to a halt, for it wasn't the first time someone was judging him for what he had done.
No one could understand his reasoning, even though they were pretty logical.
It was not that he didn't love his family enough, nor it was that he wanted to backstab anyone. But he had morals he couldn't break, he had ideals engraved in his personality and soul. He had a consciousness way more awake than the people that used to surround him.
