I sat on the beach and looked out, it was so peaceful. The sound of the waves crashing against the wet sand. The foamy water rising up only to be a couple inches from my feet.

I sat there just watching out until I heard my name, "Harper?" A familiar voice said, not the person I messaged but even better.. my best friend.

"Aisha!" I said and stood up running to her, we instantly hugged each other, I studied her as she looked good, she'd definitely lost weight.

"Wow Aisha! You look good!" I smiled and she nodded. "Thanks! How's cobra Kai?" She said as I said down, she did soon after.

"Kreese took it over, and things are looking good." I said and she nodded, "what about you and hawk?" She asked hopeful.

"I broke up with him, I thought he had changed.. but something must've happened to him at the fight.. it just made him this horrible person." I said and she nodded

"I've been talking to Kyler though." I said and she looked at me shocked. "Your kidding right?" She said, I looked at the waves again not making eye contact..

"I- I'm sorry." I said shaking my head. "Don't be sorry, I just.. after the way he was to hawk, I never expected you to get with him." She said and I nodded, "me either.. but he's actually really good to me." I said and she nodded

"Your gonna break up with him aren't you?" She said and I looked at her. "Well- no.. but I was thinking about it." I said and she nodded, "Harper, you need to do what's best for you. And I don't think a boy is what's best for you. But whatever you do I'll support you." She said with her big smile.

Oh how I missed Aisha, she had been there for me sense I first moved here, I never realized how much I missed her until she was gone.

"Thank you Aisha.. for all of it." I said and she nodded, I heard a man and women yell to her, must be her parents. "That's my parents, I'll see you again, I promise" she said standing up.

I hugged her one last time and she looked at me, "so what's best for you." She said before running off, back to her parents.

I sighed and sat down, I looked at me phone. 2:45... 15 minutes until I had to make my decision..

JOHNNYS POV-

I sat in the restaurant waiting to see Ali, I didn't know what to do.. I looked over and saw a man order.. I didn't know what to have and I wanted to impress Ali, so I repeated the meal to myself and then I looked and she walked in.

She looked around for a second and then saw me, we locked eyes and walked over to me, I stood up. "Hi, Johnny." She said

"Ali. Hey" I said, "hey" she said and we both laughed, we both leaned in and hugged, she placed her hands on my arm. "Awkward hug out of the way." She said and I nodded,

"All right" I said, we both sat down and looked at each other for a minute. "Wow, this is so weird." She said, I smiled at her, "you look amazing" I said and she smiled.

"Oh, thank you. So do you." She replied. I smiled, "god, when was the last time we saw each other." She said, "I think it was senior year." I said back.

"Senior year." Ali said thinking about it, "mm. Must've been after the umm.." she said and I nodded, thinking back to it.. "yeah, after that." I said cringing to it.

The waitress came and we all ordered and I changed mine last second to a burger like Ali.

We talked and caught up and talked about our first and second date. "Man, those were the good times." I said.

"Seems like things are really good for you now.. I- uh, I saw on facebook the pictures of you and your students." She said, "I can not believe your a sensei" she said and I nodded.
