I woke up to Eli alarm, I was exhausted but we had school. I quickly got up and showered and got dressed for school.

I walked downstairs to Eli making two bowls of cereal. We both quickly ate and we walked to my car, "wanna ride with me?" I asked.

He nodded and got in. The drive to the car ride was pretty quiet, "are you going to miyagi-do tonight?" He asked.

"Oh, no. I am taking a break on karate this year." I said, he nodded and turned towards me, he noticed at was quick to answer.

"Any reason why?" He asked, "well, kinda." I said and Eli nodded, "what happened." He said,

I turned to look at him quickly before looking back at the road, "daniel freaked out on me and called me dumb and said a lot of mean things, and Johnny has been ignoring me, and it had to be when I needed him the most." I said and he frowned.

"I'm sorry, Harper." Eli said, I nodded and smiled, "it's fine, I don't need them to teach me karate. Masons dad has been training me." I said.

He nodded, "that's cool, is he good?" Eli asked. I nodded, "he's so good, he's really taught me a lot in these passed couple of days." I said and he smiled.

"That's good, I hope you come back to miyagi-do everyone misses you." He said. I nodded and pulled into the school parking lot.

"Yeah, maybe." I said before getting out of the car, me and Eli walked into the school. There was a couple minutes before class so I went to find mason.

The bell rang so I decided to just walk to class. I walked in and a couple minutes later he did too. He sat down next to me and smiled,

"Good morning." I said greeting him. He sat down next to me. "Good morning, Harper." He replied. The teacher gave us instructions on what to do and we started working on it.

"How was the date?" He asked, I smiled. "Mason it was amazing! I had so much fun, thank you for encouraging me to do that." I said.

He smiled. "Yeah I was just stating the obvious." He said making us both laugh.

"Are you coming to the dojo today?" He said. I nodded, "I'll stop by for a class" I said and he nodded. "Sick." He said and I nodded.

LUNCH-

Me and Eli walked into the cafeteria and I saw the kid who broke my arm, he had a black eye and thankfully no bruise on his neck that was visible.

He looked at me as Eli and me stood in line, Eli caught on. "Why is he staring at you?" He asked, I looked at the kid making him look away,

"Uh.. I don't know." I said. He looked at me suspiciously and nodded. "I think your lying." He said, looking at me.

I looked at him and shook my head, "I'm not lying. Why would I lie? That guy tried to kill me." I said getting irritated.

"Sorry. I shouldn't have accused you." He said and I nodded. We walked over to Miguel, Sam, Mitch and Demetri, also Bert too.

"Hey guys." I smiled, Sam looked at me and smiled. "Hey Harper, when are you coming back to miyagi-do?" She said.

I looked at her and shook my head. "I'm not. Neither Johnny or Daniel have even tried to apologize, let alone talk to me." I said.

Sam looked at me shocked and nodded, "I'm sorry, I could talk to my dad." She said and I shook my head no. "Don't bother." I said and took a bite of my food.

"My mom also said if you want to stop by when my dad isn't home you can stop by to get meals." She said, "wait Harper, where are you staying?" Miguel asked.
