I woke up this morning to my dad on the phone with a very pissed off Daniel. Tomorrow was the first day of school and we weren't doing anything.

My dad got off the phone and I made myself a bowl of cereal. "Hey honey, how did you sleep?" He asked me. "Good I love my bed!" I smiled and he laughed. "I'm glad you like it!" He smiled.

We kept talking while I ate, "so what do you wanna do today?" He asked, "eh I don't know, probably relax" I said and he nodded.

For most of the day we swam in the pool, and sun tanned and just relaxed as I wanted, we both needed it. "Your mom messaged me this morning." My dad said. "Oh yeah?" I asked and he nodded. "She said she misses you." He said and I laughed. "Bullshit" he looked at me.

"I know she hurts you but she does love you." He said, "she doesn't love either of us. She's with you for your money so she can get wasted" I said coldly. He looked at me and just nodded.

I woke up and showered getting ready and dressed into a pair of black jeans and a Tommy NY shirt. With my purple sneakers. (Photo above)

I walked downstairs and quickly ate breakfast and me and my dad got into my car and drove to school. "Bye kiddo" he said as I got out of his car, "bye dad love you" I smiled and he drove away and I walked inside.

I sat down in my first bell room and of course didn't know anyone. I quickly sat in the back in the corner and started taking notes. Then a kid sat next to me, he looked like me. Lost and new. "Hey I'm Miguel" he said. "Harper Flynn pleasure to meet you" I said and stuck out my hand for him to shake.

He did so. "So you new here?" He asked me. "Yeah, are you?" I asked and he nodded. "Seemed to obvious?" He asked and I nodded laughing. "Great" he said and I laughed.

We had the next four classes together so we got to know each other, kinda.. until it was lunch time. We both got a school lunch and looked around where to sit. I saw Sam and she saw me, not even acknowledging me. Great.

"Alright Miguel where are we sitting?" I asked and he looked around, he looked at the vending machine and there were a group of boys. "You got beef with them?" I asked and he shook his head. "Yeah, they beat me up for no reason." he said and I nodded understanding he didn't wanna talk about it.

We both walked over to a table with two boys. One was kinda cute to be honest he had a scar under his nose down to his mouth. But he looked scared, the other kid.. I hate to say this looked like a total nerd..

"Is it cool if we sit here?" Miguel asked and they both looked up. "Oh, sorry our tables really blowing up right now, I can put you on the wait list but it's probably next semester at the earliest." I laughed at his sarcasm and Miguel frowned beginning to walk away.

"Ok" Miguel frowned. "No I'm kidding" he said and Miguel looked back at them. Sitting down next to the quiet kid, I sat next to Miguel.

"Miguel" he said, "Demetri, this is Eli." "I'm Harper" I said and they both looked at me and smiled. Kinda?

"He's a man of few words" demetri said about Eli. Just then Sam and her friend walked by, all the guys seem astonished by them. "Dude don't torture yourself. Those are the rich girls" demetri said. I rolled my eyes at him.

"What?" He asked. "I live in the same neighborhood as them, they aren't worth your guys time" I said laughing. "She's nothin special." I said and they all looked at me.

"Ah shit, yasmines looking at us, probably just making fun of me" Eli says and I frowned. "I don't think she's making fun of you? Just because shes hot doesn't mean she's mean?" He said genuinely and I looked at demetri and he looked at Miguel in disbelief.
